Saw returns?
Not a big fan of the storyline of saw, just love the gore!
But Lionsgate claimed that Saw 3D (October 2010) would be the last of the lot, being Saw 7.
BUT, for those who like easter egg type clues in films, I spotted that in the film Insidious (Written and Directed by James Wan and Leigh Whannell - the duo who did the Saw saga), there is a scene where on the chalk board in the school there is a drawing of Billy the Puppet with a number 8 below it. Could this be a sign that there will be a Saw 8 I'm the future?
I have looked on the Internet for an image to prove this but I cannot find one, I shall upload one soon though!
What do people think of this? Anyone else seen the Easter egg in Insidious?
Discuss?

Re: Saw returns?
Another one?! LOL. I was laughing in the theatre when I saw the Jigsaw doll in Insidious. Oh and did you also notice the midget standing behind the door?

Re: Saw returns?
Storylines of saw are so bad..
I hope they don't make another one.

Re: Saw returns?
Saw one and two were fine.
Most sequels never get past 3, and neither did Saw :/

Nah, Leigh Whannel said that he'd include the puppet as an easter egg somewhere in all his future films.

I understand this, but with a number 8 underneath? If he's just teasing us i'll be disappointed.

I agree, I think my favourite two traps are;
The needle pit from SAW2, as needles just go through me!
here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=19T5lgPT5Eo
OR
Pendulum Trap from SAW4, as its just so gruesome.

Re: Saw returns?
The saw movies went downhill after the 3rd one, but I have seen them all. I enjoy the story line. I am going to look up this supposed easter egg, I have seen the movie 3 times and never noticed it.
I would probably watch saw 8 if it came out.
Edit: Interesting...

Re: Saw returns?
If this is just a tease I would be very annoyed. Saw 3D was good, but in a few years time imagine how good the gorey-ness of the next one could be in 3D! Definitely going to keep an eye out in all Wan and Whannell's films now!
Thanks for the picture x339
