Information:

The server has been successfully moved to a 2GB RAM server hosted by BeastNode. Our dynamic map is likewise hosted at www.sythecraft.com:8123. Advanced permissions have not been set up yet, running into issues with bPermissions. As such, there are no extra perks for donors, nor space for moderating staff. Donations are, as always, accepted and very appreciated, but there are no perks as of yet. My staff will consist of Operators only, and therefore only a select few highly trusted friends of mine will receive staff so please don't ask. If you're trusted enough, you'll know. The server is entirely survival. Staff will provide materials upon request, and assistance with worldedit if they deem it necessary. A new map has been put in place of the old one from the original server. Default users have permission to create, join, and leave guilds at their choosing with "Factions" commands. You may also claim your land where only you and your guild members may build. Spawntown is currently in a SafeZone, and therefore can only be built upon by operators. This may change in the future as I relearn the functionality of my permissions plugin.

Oh well, so long as this means it will work flawlessly in the future then I'm not complaining.

If I were you i'd setup a whitelist and have people post in the thread before they could join that way we could narrow down griefers much easier and limit them overall.

My anti-grief is near flawless, we'll have no problem with griefers. But this also means the restriction on usable items will be bigger than some of you may like.

Water, lava, TNT, and fire placement is only allowed to be done by mod+ etc

That's good enough for me, if I make a lava waterfall or something I would request an op to do it rather than have the ability to do it myself and risk the world getting greifed at the same time.

Well when tnt is placed next to a current it automatically becomes an entity. you can use that to get past tnt placing plugins. I would turn the damage from it off so even if they did it would just explode and not change anything. Anyway I am getting tired and I will check out the server in the morning. Looking forward to playing with you guys :]

Spent an hour on the server, made a mine. Looking really good. I love the nickname plugin as it's dead useful for changing to our Sythe names so everyone doesn't get confused. The only thing I can think for improvement is: Make sure server is as greif proof as possible. And make sure the server doesn't corrupt again, make back ups. Really nice server, join now if your on Sythe!

I like the server so far, just some permissions issues need to be fixed.

Permissions is a high priority. I need to get in touch with someone who actually knows how to do it. It's one of the only things really that I never learned how to do.

Server is looking great, we just need to fill up the city with some nice structures. Be nice to post this server on the Minecraft forums and get some more people to play as well.

Yes, made the mine entrace yesterday, looking quite groovy looking. When we get all the plots filled up with good builds the server will start looking nice and you could screenshot it for the original post.
