Default Minecraft on Xbox 360

http://arstechnica.com/gadgets/news/...-to-kinect.ars

Minecraft is coming out on Xbox 360 with Kinect. How do you guys think it'll work with kinect? Do you think you'll be able to play with a controller as well? I wonder if it'll be an arcade game or full game with a disc, and how it'll compare to the PC version.

I saw this and my first thought is "They haven't even finished the game on the computer". Despite this I really am looking forward to it, and have no clue how kinect is going to play out with this. If you look on the indie games on XBL there is almost an exact copy of minecraft on there.

With Notch teaming up with xbox I bet he is going to get an army of people to work with to put it all together.

Profits will soar for Minecraft seeing as though most people these days have xboxes and kinects. I probably wont play it much but I think its a good idea.

I hope that you will be able to play with a controller. I don't want to buy a kinect for Minecraft.

On whether it will be on a disc or not, I think it will be an Arcade title.

I am wondering how it will save worlds. They can get very big if you explore alot. I am assuming there is probably going to be a size limit introduced to the console version so you don't eat away all your hard drive space.

Even when I have explored maps for months, they've never gotten to be so large that I thought they were a problem

Yeah, basic minecraft gets boring after a while. Its the mods that make the game interesting.

The mods do make it interesting, however the game itself, with all its crafting and such aside from only placing blocks makes it a fun game overall. Fortresscraft is just MC Alpha, which is meant for pixel art mainly

I'll be excited for voicechat on the servers.

And yes, they'll have to limit the worlds.

Minecraft on xbox will be AMAZING!!!!!!!!

1. Fortress craft is completely terrible. I mean TERRIBLE.
2. IT HAS BEEN CONFIRMED YOU CAN USE CONTROLLERS!
3. Being on the xbox im sure they will add some community level support or something like that.
4. Online play would be easy via xbox live.
5. Playing in your world with a friend will be so much fun! Like to play with a friend on the pc you have to get in a mutliplayer server and there are other people/lag there.
6. Lag will not be a problem for people who normally expierience lag.

I think some genres were just made for PC and PC only (think of Halo wars)

Minecraft is one of them.
