Karthus vs Kassadin: Who would win?
Karthus vs Kassadin, who would win?
I dont play either much, dont see them much in game either
But I hear at high ELO, Karthus destroys everyone, but Kassadin is an anti-mage. I'm trying to decide a new AP carry to focus on mastering. Which do you think would win ?

Re: Karthus vs Kassadin: Who would win?
Easily Kassadin. Wrote doesn't even know how to spell Karthus so his opinion is obsolete.
Kassadin has a silence, a slow, an easy escape. Karthus can't deal with people in his face. Simple.
Truth: Maining Kassadin is a bad idea. He is banned in almost every elo except for 5v5 high elo games where they would ban counters rather then "op".

Re: Karthus vs Kassadin: Who would win?
In my personal experience a fed Kassadin is an absolute destruction machine with that force pulse doing like 1/2 people's health, and the silence makes him an anti ap carry
However Karthus stays alive for 10 secs after death and can damage the whole team for soulstealer stacks, I played a game with him and was riding a minimum of 16 stacks all game Although they both drop off late game, AP carries just dont keep up :O

Re: Karthus vs Kassadin: Who would win?
The question is who would win, Karthus or Kassadin, and the logical conclusion has to be Kassadin. Kassadin has a silence that eliminates all the damage output from Karthus, while Kassadin himself can repeatedly harass Karthus every time his silence is up.

Exactly, silence is OP xD
All of Karthus' damage comes from abilities and Kass' silence goes for like 2.5 seconds, taking Karthus' damage from >1000s to <100s

Re: Karthus vs Kassadin: Who would win?
Tbh Kassadin is one of the best mid champions. He has silence, slow and he will always escape, unless he is 100% stunned. I always tell ppls to ban him..
Such an OP character

Re: Karthus vs Kassadin: Who would win?
In lane Karthus Q charges Kass W.
Kass W wrecks like shit and allows kass to deal a lot of damage. Also Karthus doesn't do too well against people with gap closers.

You can silence an undead ghost. Karth hit's easy 700's with his q late game, without being that fed. plus 200 per second. QSS owns kass so hard.

Re: Karthus vs Kassadin: Who would win?
Kass wins.
Kass has a silence and escape.
Karthus does not have an escape.
Kass' E is charged by spells, and Karthus spams Q

Re: Karthus vs Kassadin: Who would win?
Neither because they would both be banned
(really though, If you're planning on your main being an AP carry, I would not suggest either of those two for that reason)
I would say Karthus if you don't play rated just because he's more fun.

Re: Karthus vs Kassadin: Who would win?
Kass is always banned at my elo. And Karthus is carrying me out of my elo hole that I've dug. Absolutely crushes <1400 elo, if you know how to play him.

Re: Karthus vs Kassadin: Who would win?
If they were both played by people with the exact same skill level Kassadin would win IMO.
That being said, I strongly believe ANY champion can beat all other champions if played correctly.

rrr Karthus' AOE is damage with people "in his face", not to mention his bombs that do astronomical damage, not to mention his passive to easily grab a kill for kill, and above all, his ult should everything else fail.
If Kassadin dies, it's over. If Karthus dies, he can still destroy you if kassadin has already used his teleport to close the gap, even then, ult is op
Karthus is the easy victor of a 1v1

Re: Karthus vs Kassadin: Who would win?
It would be kass for sure, he would constantly have his E up from karthus using his Q. Kass would also be able to easily dodge the karthus Q and harass with his own Q which would out range the karthus aura and then there's the silence and the gap closer would easily shut down karthus. Kassadin is one of the best anti anti mages for a reason. Whenever I play talon and there is an enemy Kassadin mid I take mid and give him a nice surprise .

Nah Kassadin wins in any evenly match exchange. At lower ELO's maybe Karthus could win if Kassadin was bad.
