I'm about to find out, going into a game From what I saw in the champion spotlight, he looks beast.

I don't think it was a bad experience. He seems pretty solid when I fight him. He can usually hold off 2-3 guys at a time, long enough for his team to arrive and finish us off. Has happened plenty of times today.

He is a beast, haha.
Yeh, he seems OP.
And I just played Fizz and also thought he was also OP.
Volibear will probably turn into a popular tank.

Ahh Volibear, the thunders roar, seems to be a great champion to use, but honestly would suck to be against him

It's like Singed.... except more annoying and more OP.

Re: Volibear, what do you think?
Hes not OP..you guys just dont know how to approach him and probably go upfront trying to killing him. Hes pretty much a better Udyr.

Yea, you do have a point. Granted, he does fall behind in late game - but he's still a force to be reckoned with.
Just hope he doesn't get fed and drag the game out if you have to.

Re: Volibear, what do you think?
His passive is Mundo's ult... except the healing occurs faster
Q is mini Singed's fling but with a gap closer
Don't remember exactly what the rest of his kit is but it seems pretty broken...

Re: Volibear, what do you think?
If he's in your lane just harass the hell out of him to force his passive out, then he's easy to take down. Other than, avoid his throwback. Also he isn't as effective late game from what I gather.

Re: Volibear, what do you think?
Late game he is absolutely terrible. If you dont get kills early game, expect a terrible game with him.

Re: Volibear, what do you think?
He's ridiculously OP'd, and have you ever looked at the tips when playing against him?

Truth in this thread
But really, you have to know how to play him well in order to dominate with him. Or I just suck at this game, but I tried and failed miserably.

Re: Volibear, what do you think?
He's a great champion from what I've seen. At the moment, it still seems he's a champion not many players are familiar with or know how to counter, which may help for those not extremely used to tanking and its responsibilities.
However, I tend to dislike this at times as well, as the game play doesn't seem to be so exciting. For example: If you play a 3v3 and your teammates die repeatedly to him, essentially feeding him, it can take away from the rest of the game. This is why it's good to make friends along the way as well.

Re: Volibear, what do you think?
IF you are against him (especially in lane) you need to run ignite to fight him. Other than that, it isn't too bad.
