There are lots of sites that require you to register.
You don't want to use your own E-mail, because they'll use it in marketing purpose.
What this means is your mail box will get pretty much spammed.
This tutorial will show you How to: Use temporary E-mails.

By using www.mailinator.com -:
+ You can access free e-mail without registration (very helpful if you're planning to use the website only once)
+ WTF FAST?
- Mails sent by some protected websites may not come
- Attachments do NOT work on mailinator

How does it work?

QUICK STEPS:
1. Go to the website www.mailinator.com
2. In the red-circled area, type in your desired email, for example: ABC (don't use "@...")
3. Enjoy your temporary e-mail.
4. ???
5. Profit

Please Note that:
You can make your E-mail private, only for you - for example: [email protected]) - people won't enter such ridiculous E-mails.
There are more temporary E-mail sites, Mailinator is just my personal favorite, and it's the most popular temporary E-mail.

probably, yes.
If mailinator doesn't work, you should try 10minutemail, it will work for sure, but you'll never access this e-mail again ;P

In addition, fakenamegenerator.com comes with a free temporary email with every name generated.
Useful for those times you need more than just an email
