Hey.
I've seen this issue too many times here on Sythe.org which is the reason I decided to type up this guide on avoiding double posting, spam, etc.
This guide will be divided into two section.
Section one will consist of a step-by-step guide on post editing (which also includes deletion of a post).
Section two will consist of a step-by-step guide on quoting multiple posts, also known as multi-quoting.
Let's begin.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Section One:
How to edit a post
Step 1.
Firstly, locate the desired post to be edited.
This could include a post which you accidentally posted (to be deleted) or a typo which you wish to correct.
Figure 1.1
Step 2.
The next step is to click on the 'Edit' button located in the bottom right side of the post.
This is portrayed within the green box in figure 1.2.
Figure 1.2
Step 3.
After clicking the 'Edit' button, an editing panel will appear.
Using this panel will allow you to either correct or delete the post.
Figure 1.3
Step 4.
If you wish to edit the post, simply correct the typo (or whatever reason you wished to edit the post in the first place) as shown in figure 1.4.
Figure 1.4
Step 5.
Next, click 'Save' as depicted within the red rectangle below.
Figure 1.5
If you wish to type a description of the reason you decided to edit the post, simply do so within the text box as shown in the blue box.
Figure 1.6
The white text is quite different to read, however it does say 'Reason for Editing:'.
Step 6.
Once you have saved your correction, a time stamp and the reason why you edited the post will now appear (A reason will not be displayed if you did not type one in. If you wish to state a reason, please refer to Step 5 of Section One).
Now your original post which you edited will now appear like this:
Figure 1.7
Step 7.
This step will refer to the deletion part of this guide.
After completing Steps 1-3 of this section, simply click the 'Delete' button as as shown below.
Figure 1.8
Step 8.
Once the 'Delete' button is clicked, an additional panel will drop down.
Figure 1.9
In figure 1.9, you can see that you will not be able to delete the message (post) without consenting to it by clicking on the bubble beside 'Delete Message' as shown in the image below.
Figure 2.0
Once again, a reason can be given as to why the message (post) was removed, however it is not required.
Step 9.
Finally, click the 'Delete this Message' button and your post will be removed from the topic.
Figure 2.1
That concludes section one of this guide.

Section Two:
How to multi-quote
Step 1.
Locate the posts which you wish to quote.
I have located 2 posts as shown below.
Figure 2.2
Step 2.
Next, click the 'Multi-Quote this Message' icon.
When you hover your cursor over the middle icon, it will notify you of what the icon is as shown in the image below.
Figure 2.3
Step 3.
Now simply click the 'Multi-Quote this Message' icon on the desired posts which you wish to quote.
The 'Multi-Quote this Message' icons will now transform to a red colour, which was previously green.
Figure 2.4
Step 4.
Once you have completed Step 3 and successfully multi-quoted the posts which you wish to quote, click on the 'quote' button as shown within the orange box below.
Figure 2.5
Step 5.
The quoted messages should now appear in a text panel.
You have now successfully mutli-quoted multiple posts within one post.

If you think this guide can be improved upon, feel free to leave a post suggesting what the improvement could be, other opinions are freely welcomed.
I hope this extensive guide has taught you a thing or two and that double posts are avoided in the near-future.
Thanks for reading.
