Which do you think is better; PC Gaming or Console Gaming? (Console Gaming being Xbox 360, PS3)

Don't just vote on the poll, give me your reasons aswell.

PC is obviously much better. Consoles are old, computers are new.

PC gaming is so much better, you have either desktop or laptops, new games and old games to choose from, can always update without having to buy a newer console, multitasking , etc.

Pc gamer's buy equipment more than console gamers.
To keep you pc at the top level you will be buying new parts every other month.. but with console's you buy the console and wait 3 years till they bring out another one.

But, for example Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and World at War, you can buy the new map packs but on PC you can just download them.

PC gaming though console gaming is better for playing with real life friends in my opinion.

I do agree with you a little, as it's more likely your inreal life friends have a Console, not a Gaming PC.

True. Its much funner to have 4 game controls on a couch with friends playing a game than 4 gaming computers, in the same room.... (No ones that rich)... >_>.

I chose console gaming because its..
-Cheaper
-Simpler in that you can play with your console right out of the box.
-I prefer playing on a coach with friends than sitting on a chair.
-I prefer a controller than a keyboard.

Depends on the game.
I prefer my PC for online gaming cause I've never got bloody XBLive.
The console is better for my single player and when friends come over but when I wanna play like War3 online or whatever PC.
My vote goes to console for price and convenience.

Ok your not understanding what i mean.

Take for instance my old xbox. I have had that thing for about 5 years now and all i have spent is £5 for the dvd remote.

In that same time i must have spent at least £300 on my pc to keep it up to date and this is not just confined to gaming but spread over a pc's whole performance and maintenance.

PC gaming is far superior to console gaming. It is way more customizable, has better graphics, and you can use a keyboard and mouse. Talking over vent is also way better than talking of xbl or psn. If you really want to use a controller, you can just plug one in to your PC, if you like a big screen, just plug your PC into one. And if you like to sit on the couch while you play, just use a wireless kb and mouse. The only complain i have about PC gaming is the lack of splitscreen support.

And also, everyone owns a PC, so instead of buying a console, just spend a little extra on your PC to use it for gaming.

No you don't? To keep your PC at absolute top level, yes, but not to play every game on great graphics. You need a real upgrade maybe every 2 years?

I have both a good PC and a ps3 but I have to say i like my ps3 much more. Because I don't like installing my games, when I bought a game I need to play it inmediadly . And I don't like it that most games get on the PC much later then on the ps3. But it's awsome that PC games are free if you know what I'm saying
