Also isnt GIFT the paypal option where money cant be refunded?

well u can't really be sure, but usually if it has no fees is a good indicator.

On your transaction history on home-page see if you have a "issue refund" button. Which means it's been gifted.

Receiving a payment as a gift doesn't change the chances of it being a chargeback. Personal payments are generally preferred since they usually don't incur fees on the seller. However the buyer has the option of not paying the fee.

If the title of the email sent to you is "You got Money!" then it has been sent as a gift, unless... they changed the title, you can go to transaction history and see if there was a fee.
