I've had two people ask if i can verify my account through team viewer and when i say i will just show ingame, they dont reply or just log off.

Please explain what is team viewer and how it works.

Yes, don't fall for it.

If they want you to go on TV that bad, instead of just seeing the account in-game, they are probably planning to keylog, transmit a virus, or something of that nature.

To the guys above, it's possible to keylog only if you type in your username and password while sharing the screen. I suggest you log into your RS account and then start sharing the screen. Be sure to keep control of your mouse because the other party can control it too by default. Once you're done proving yourself, quickly close it before the other person tries to pull a trick. I've done this a few times myself and have never been hacked so far.

Teamviewer basically is a RAT. However it's safe to download if you are asking that. However, if someone is refusing to go on teamviewer rather then show in game, then I would be concerned. Just take care when using teamviewer, they can mess around with your computer too, if you think somethings fishy, just hit "Esc". It'll close it straight-away. Good luck.
