Re: Need Help With MSN
Only thing I can think of is that you are logged into a different account on your browser than your MSN. Check and see if you are logged into the correct account.

I logged on it myself (its not auto logged in). So thanks but thats not it.
PS. Usually when I log on to msn, the friend invites appear asking accept or decline, but its just showing this.

Re: Need Help With MSN
I almost always have 1 invitation and it never gets me anywhere...I login today and have 4 and had to accept/decline friend requests to get rid of them.

Re: Need Help With MSN
Ah, it's a profile invitation. To comment someone or something.
It's not to add someone as a friend.
EDIT: all msn addresses secretly have a myspace-like page.
I get invitations in my MSN email all the time.

Re: Need Help With MSN
Off another forum:
Code:
Completely exit Live Messenger and then delete all contents of %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live Contacts folder.
Start Live Messenger again

Re: Need Help With MSN
Try googling your MSN profile. OR go to the msn website, sign in, and view your profile. Check your msn email, etc for alerts and where to delete, deny, or accept them.
That's the only time i've really declined or accepted any of these is thru email links.

Re: Need Help With MSN
To fix this:
1) Log into your messenger and click on 'You have X invitations.'
2) Deny all the current invitations you have.
3) Go to your profile and click on, 'Privacy settings'.
4) Then tick 'Private' and click on the 'Save' button.
This way, you'll get no more invitations from other users.

Re: Need Help With MSN
I'm not sure if it'll stop invitations in your messenger as well, but I do know that you won't get any more profile invitations. Give it a try and ask someone to add you to test it.

Re: Need Help With MSN
Ah yes... I forgot you have the invitation bug. Googled around a bit and found something that will help fix this bug (assuming you have XP or Vista, doesn't work on 7 'cause I can't see the AppData folder). http://www.fourwheelforum.com/showthread.php?p=3639 Tell me if it works.
