Default Third Signature.

Taking in some of the advice given to me by w000t and others (big thanks) I decided to make my 3rd attempt at a signature. This time I (think) I managed to get a proper light source in, text is not the focal point (albeit it looks a bit crummy) and overall I feel the effects came together and flowed with the render better; rather than being a blob of randomness.

The only thing that I'm unsure about in this signature is the lazer Samus is shooting. It seems like the lazer is almost a bigger focal point than Samus, idk.

Anything else I should improve on with this sig? Please be the harshest critic possible, as I'm really new to all this, but really want to learn.

Thank you.

PS: I really love those type of borders lol

Scale it back a tad on the distortion on the left side, it's pretty empty over there ;P

The spiraling lights/fractal around samus is oversharpened imo, comparing to the light coming out of her gun/laser thingy [/fp] .

Not directly seeing the light source, upper right? but sublimity isn't bad, the render already seems to be well "lit".

You're doing great for a 3rd sig, KIU mate.

Thanks big time. I guess my light sources still need a lot of work

I'll work on toning down my distortion. I know I use it too much, need to experiment with other filters and stuff.

Thanks again.

Only advice i have to give you on this one is to make an apply image layer then filter>blur then erase around the render.
