I was just doing an MM and someone tried to send $200 via credit card. In no way shape or form was it letting him. It said:

You cannot use this credit card for this transaction. Please use another funding source.
• You will need to add and confirm your bank account. Once your bank account has been added and confirmed, you can continue this payment. Add your bank account information below.

When he called Paypal he received "We are currently working on measures to prevent fraud and ensure security".

This looks good to me. Finally Paypal gains some business sense and realizes people aren't using them because they're getting charged back by a giant loophole in the system.

This move should prove to get rid of a huge chunk of the scammers we have here.

Very nice, Paypal is getting better about the chargebacks. This will get rid of more than half of all chargebacks with paypal.

Finally, even though it should have happened so much long ago.

They should actually follow through with their claims and make both the parties provide proof of transaction.

Just now. I pretty much do 24/7 Paypal transactions so I'm pretty up to date on this situation

It's a huge company so it takes time for things to get to the top.

Not really. As I said, things take a while to get to the top. I'm sure there were plenty of advocates within the company that knew what they were talking about.

It just takes time for the head of the department to take action.

Credit card charges were always easy to notice(because there is a fee), and you can still chargeback depending on your bank. Let's not go over the top and claim most scammers will stop.

Sweet as , so when people are paying with paypal no more chargebacks! It will all be legit transactions! thats good , a bit gutted in a way because they only have a limited access with bank accounts from certain country's.
