So basically there was a punk concert in our city park for breast cancer. They had to struggle for it to be allowed but they finally allowed it. It was raining, and still hundreds of punks came to the show. Hundreds of noise complaints came as well, but it was still allowed due to the permit, and the by-law is in effect until 11:00 PM. Yet still the fucking cops decided to shut down the show, almost resulting in a riot and many arrests(not recorded)

When that happens you don't want to deal with their shitty calls so you finish the problem. As messed up as this was, due to the fact that they are prohibited to 11pm, it happened.

Riot? there's nothing to prove, the next day the cops are still there, nothing has changed. Walk home "scene" kids.

Sucks to see it happen, but hey, it's not a very liked genre, and ya it's not fair, but fuck, nothing you can do with all the bullshit these days.

The concert was allowed by the municiple government, The noise wasn't even loud, and the bylaw of "reasonable(this was completely reasonable) noise" goes until 11PM, it was only about 8

A riot didn't happen, one ALMOST did AFTER they shut it down due to noise complaints. Most people wandered off after an angry young teenage girl was beaten and arrested by an officer, and many others arrested.
