I know literally nothing and since it was added as a forum I might check it out.

What platform is it for? (I assume PC) Any other information is appreciated.

It's for pc, but the II itself is like 10years+ old, which is why im supprised you make a section for it.
You basicly kill stuff get armour and can PVP or do story mode of up to 4 people I think.(its been many years since i've played it)

Why not rename it diablo instead on diable II & III that way you can include "I" aswell.

As for 3 i think its comming out soon or is just come out.

I myself would be interested in more info about it. My cousin told me a long time ago that Diablo 2 was an awesome game and that I should get it but I never did.

Well its like joining together with other players to do parts of the storyline together. Lveling up and gaining the best gear.
That's when you move to PVP and try to see whose best.
If anything buy the walk-through FireZ its very cheap and explains everything very well. Has alot of pictures.

It hasn't been released yet but they say they will be releasing it early 2011, I've seen pre-order diablo III in a few stores now so I know it is coming.

Here is what you need to know about D2:
1. Buy the expansion Lords Of Destruction (I have the keys if you want to buy.)
2. Go through each difficulty and ask for a run through, offer Hellforge for payment
3. Get to the final difficulty (Don't go hardcore) and do Griswald runs to level. (Its great EXP and you don't even have to fight. Just don't die)
4. Get to level 70+ and start doing Baal runs and get yourself good gear.

Diablo was for the playstation as well.

Basically, Diablo is you slash and kill game. Choose your class, and just kill a lot of monsters with the boss at the end of each act.

diablo was one of the first games for pc also... you gotta remember it

You can't really just "HEAR" all about Diablo and just learn from it, you might get a taste for it, but you certainly won't learn all about it. You have to actually play it, experience it, ENJOY IT! You gotta get the game, it's really good, and I hear tons of people still play it.

I agree, many people still do play both Diablo I and II. It is intensely addicting and any true gamer will appreciate the type of game play that is unique to Diablo, not to mention the story line isn't so bad either..

Agreed, once you get into the game you learn very quickly.
It's not that hard to understand at all.

although diablo 2 was made like 10 years ago a lot of people still play it
the main concept of the game was to complete all five acts and kill diablo(4th act and then baal on the 5th act)
there are 7 classes:
assassin
barbarian
necromancer
amazon
paladin
druid
sorceress
for battle.net(online)
diablo has serves such as uswest but within these servers u can make your own games either public or private and each randomly create the whole game within that game u made
and u can leave and join other peoples games depending on public or private to play with other people online to complete the game, trade or even compete in pvp
The great thing about this game is that although it drops a lot of items that are common u will always find items that have never been discovered before as they are all randomly generated
there are no pvp servers, u can just rock up into somebodys public game and attempt to kill them
This games Pvp is no doubt the best i have ever played , there are no restrictions except for being lvl 9 so u can fight somebody like 80 lvls higher then you, each class has different skills so its a great diverse pvp each match, there is so many different combinations in pking that i never got bored, there is always a player u can beat and another class that is able to beat you.
All in All this games pk is like anything ive ever played before, you dont just stand there and click like in runescape, you constantly teleporting or running away from your opponent and outbeating and outplaying them with your ability of being able to switch skills the class has. Its the ultimate test of your logic behind your builds andd gear against other classes which makes it worth while in giving it a try

Think about D3 as runescape, there will be classes that you see in runescape such as mage, warrior etc. D3 graphics will be 10x better than runescape, more mature players. Basically it's a medieval fantasy type of game and you can join with players to kill bosses or run tombs ( buildings where you kill monsters for exp). There won't be worlds in D3 like runescape where there's a lot of people in a world, on D3 there are rooms players create and a max of 8 people will be allowed in a room. Items dropped vary on their rarity and you can even create "Runewords" from runes dropped by monsters. The rarer the runes the better your runeword will be ( I suggest you read a guide on runes and runewords as they have to be socketed into items in a specific order). So yeah that's basically the general gameplay that D3 will be.
