According to the Sythe.org Official Rules, Flaming is worth 1 infraction point.

Some of the things I see posted on this forum is ridiculous. Flaming used to be a 2 point infraction, but that was removed, and I want to request something.

When someone throws a insult, it is meant to hurt the other person. I see so much of it, and the person that DOES finally get infracted, does not care about a petty little infraction that will expire in a month.

I want it to be taken up a notch. When someone has 2-3 flaming infractions, they should receive a 1 month suspension. I am starting not liking to come here anymore, I'm all over the spam forum, 'WOW IS FUN FUN FAGGOT" "WOW IS FUN FUN FAIL", this is stupid, and I think that it should be suspend-able.

To be honest, if your idea happened you would probably be banned for a while.

The spam forum is made so that you can express yourself more "wildly" than you normally would on the other sections. It's there so people can mainly do what they want without being in-trouble for it, to an extent. Which is why it's the " Spam Forum ", spam is not just generally where an individual continuously send something over and over which is consistent which was sent the previous times. It's also something which is NOT related to anything else within the other section you see currently on the forums apart form the Spam section.

Still... It gets out of control. And there shouldn't be a place where you cannot get infracted. The rules should be enforced throughout the entire forum.

You obviously don't understand forums really well.. When it gets out of "control" there is mods for that section and over where it can be taken care of, now just because in your eyes to you, it is out of control or should not be done. Does not necessarily mean that it is wrong or breaking any rules.

I would like for you to define " Out of Control ", because in ANY way shape or form everyone would generally define 'SPAM' something which is 'Out of Control'. Which brings us back to what I previously mentioned on where and why there is a Spam section, and there is what was and is being done in that section.

It's quite funny how you recommended this after you get flamed mercilesly by the spam forum members. It just goes to show that its for your own purpose and you can have people that you don't neccesarily like banned. Honestly, its the spam forum; if you don't have the balls to get flamed then don't visit it at all. Its dissappointing to see globals locking threads in the spam forum just because a member(s) flames one another. vBulletin has an ignore option and if you don't like seeing someone post then simply ignore them. Don't make pointless e-drama threads, and for people who reply to the thread: You're only making it worse.

Also if you're suggestion were to go in effect, like the others said, you'd be banned for a looong time.

To wow is fun fun - You flame in almost every thread..and you can't take it when its fired right back? I find that a bit rediculous. Grow a set and man up.

If the rule was implemented, no one would be banned, as of yet. Because if you break a rule, before it is implemented, you will not be infracted.

I understand it, but your argument is fallacious.

If you do something before the rule is implemented, you cannot be be banned because it wasn't a law/rule before.

You do realize you cause quite a bit of the flame, and you do most the flaming? Sure, I support. You'd be the first one banned.
