I saw on some site's that they will have some kind of prizes for people that have been on the site the longest, and posting. It would be points and here is an example,

1) 2 points per month on site
2) 0.25 or 0.5 points per post

And these can be used for,

1) 50 posts added to count = 100 points
2) Remove an infraction for spamming ect.. (must be on site for 6 months +) = 175 points

ect....


These could be modified to anything, just give me some feedback on this please?

Yeah, I guess it is, but I had a VB site before, and I made this for it, then it just gave everyone the correct amount of points auto.

i'm sure the staff do not want to get involved with this, as it would take a lot of effort.

I;d win prize for oldest member!

We're not encouraging people to get high post count, usually doing so will involve spamming, and this will just encourage people to spam to get rid of their infractions..

I agree with this. But you may have to try and suggest this to the owner.

I like the point system for how long you have been with sythe. It could be used for special ranks or something. But I agree with everyone above, the post points would just cause more spam.

Surely this would just lead to the scammers making multiple accounts and leaving them for a couple years, then coming back with all these points and being able to get a huge post count with no effort?
And that would create false trust.

this used to be on fagex b4 they got shut down. they had a whole store and everything. and i agree with redrum. that wuld be stupid and people would get scammed the hell out of them.
