Default Expanding the Forums -- "Public Admin Forum"

This is for Global Mods/Sectional Mods/Administrators/ETC...

It would be kind of cool if there was a public admin forum where you can request things such as: Thread Title Changes, Thread Moves, Bring Up Old Disputes/Scammer Reports. Those are all i can think of right now but if this gets good replies then I will try hard to think of things for it.

This would be very nice addition to Sythe.org and it would make things easier on users.

*This will most likely be: Mixed *

i think half the people on these forums sighned up wither high or with there runescape name, thus everyone would be requestin name changes.

i say no it will be to much extra work for our only 1 active admin.

As in Public Admin Forum, I meant Global Mods/Sectional Mods/Administrators, ETC...

We have plenty of mods, but like I said this will probably get mixed reviews but i think the overall vote will be no, because admins/mods always vote no when it requires them doing work

I do not think this is a good idea.

(I'll post why so that unbanned doesn't report me)... that's why we have a suggestions forum, a feedback forum, and a dispute forum.

Also, I would tell you that something you mentioned is mentioned in the "Do Not Suggest List" sticky, but unbanned would report me for backseat modding.

No from me as well. We already have a scammer forum and a dispute forum. Name changes are not allowed unless its a special case.

You see the problem?

I really lol'd at this and some other threads of yours. I love you.

Ontopic; No. As stated before, usernames are not allowed, archives are there for a reason, etc.

Oh goody you mean like a public way of showing mods and admins are lazy and don't get anything done? Before you would have to pm them, however only you saw that they didn't do it. Now if this happened we could see them not doing any of the threads in that forum!

support!

1. Thread title changes:
With everything to do around the forum, title changes are very low priority: if you really need a new title, you can always make a new thread and link back to the old one for reference. Alternatively, if you PM a global or a mod from that section and request a title change, most of them will do it.

2. Thread Moves:
To get a thread moved, report the post to Report a Spammer. If you report your own post and acknowledge that it was a mistake, you probably won't be infracted. You can also PM mods/sectionals to ask them to move it.

3. Bring Up Old Disputes/Scammer Reports
That's what the dispute forum is? The reason we do not officially accept disputes on bans over 1 month old is that we often simply do not have enough information to answer the dispute. We also do not want users to delay their dispute in the hopes that it will improve their chances of being approved (until, say, the mod who banned them leaves). Thus, it is the user's responsibility to dispute in a timely manner; however, most mods will answer old disputes if they are able to. A separate forum would not change anything.

Scam reports will all be dealt with eventually; there's really point to bumping them, or giving priority to some reports over others.
