Default Quick Question Section

Do you ever have a question you want to ask people but you're afraid of posting it in the General Discussion due to it's lack of content?

The person then tries to ask the question on the Spam Forum but is then flamed and spammed with topics irrelevant to the topic.

Now where does the user go for an answer?

I propose we add a "Quick Question" forum added onto the Off-Topic.

The General Discussion forum is suited for mature conversation regarding world events and developments and we constantly see many threads closed when it doesn't deal with a large issue. If you asked a simple question, 9/10 times the thread would be locked before you get an answer and sometimes you'd even get in trouble for it. I know most people would say "Google it" but what if it's one of those questions where you ask for opinion and biased answers?

Also, if you tried to ask a question in the Spam forum, you're going to expect a lot of irrelevant and rude answers. It's just hard to find a place where you can ask a variety of people a question and they all contribute to the topic without it being a spam-fest or closed/archived.

Lastly, the User Education has a "Help/Request". In my opinion, the forum seems a bit too up-tight. The questions seem a bit formal. It looks like people are afraid to ask a "stupid" question. There's nothing wrong about it, it all depends on the person. I don't see as much activity and responses as the Off-Topic section (it's just my opinion).

I like the idea sounds good to me. Should be added as a sub forum of general discussion though we don't want to make the page longer.

Why not just make a thread in the general discussion?
Your response will probably be somewhat of, "What if people don't know about it? They will never see it."

In the event that THAT would happen, I could see how a sub-forum would be needed.

**Should have added a poll.

Spam Forum is for spam. Not for stupid unfunny questions.

Anyways. I like the idea of this subforum. Let's see what the admins say.

Meh, it's rarely active. In my opinion, there's less likely of a chance you'd get an answer there than in Off-Topic. But that's all links back to the activeness of each section.

Also, if we make a thread in Off-Topic, it'd be like the price check topic. A lot of people would post but how many answers would we get?
