Obviously very much support this. A bigger inbox would be great I'm constantly clearing my inbox for what may be important PM's.

We have a VIP section for donator's called the "Donator Lounge".

OT: We could have an upper donator's lounge.

But on a serious note, I would love the increased inbox space.

Maybe put in the suggestion of higher donator's ($500+) having the ability to have 2 UI's?

There's already a donor lounge. An "Upper" donor/VIP lounge would be pointless IMO.

Sounds like a great idea. Inbox space is a great incentive, but after a certain amount it wouldn't make much of a difference.

I'd definitely agree with the fact that there aren't any perks to "jump at" especially once you get the UI and custom title.

Adding other sections is a dumb idea and it segregates the community. The donators lounge is great as it is for all donors.

I guess I'll add it to the list though.

Adding some form of customization in the profile pages could be a good idea if it's within the compatibility of how the forums works.

Another suggestion would be allowing the use of vb code in thread titles, to enable colors and other text modifications (besides size of course).

If we had some higher donor perks, then people may be more encouraged to donate higher and higher amounts. If it's going to be $300+, then some pretty beneficial perks would be necessary.

Something like an extra 250 PM space per $100 or $200 amount donated? It's just an idea. There wouldn't a massive amount of high level donators, but there would hopefully be more, if new perks were introduced. While we're here, it has occurred to me if staff (or upper staff) should have extremely high or possibly even unlimited PM space.

Another idea for a perk - the search function. While it may not be possible to completely remove the search function timer for non-staff regardless of donor amount, it could perhaps be shortened from say 30 seconds to 25 or possibly even 20 seconds. The same could go for filing spam reports if that user makes a lot of reports.

Another idea - Removal / or limited number of appeared advertisements that appear on the site. If this were done, I would imagine it would have to be quite a high donor amount to have them hidden or for the option to be there to have them hidden. I have thought before if staff should be offered the option to have them hidden from the site. The ads aren't usually a nuisance though, so long as they're not massive in file size and they're not distracting then I have no problem with them. It's just an idea.

An extra UI or maybe being allowed to submit your own fun rank could be considered. For a start an extra UI is always nice and wouldn't hurt. As for the fun rank, provided it didn't hint towards a staff positions or title or anything offensive to anyone, then that could be considered. Hey maybe the more you donate the more UIs and fun ranks you would be allowed to have. I can imagine there being a cap on it at some point, although there won't always be that many high amount donors.

That's all I can think of at the moment.

Your first suggestion may be possible after the upgrade to VB4. The second, I doubt will ever happen. We want to give useful perks, not unfair advantages. Doing this would further enable the market giants to dominate their frequented section of the market.

What about the ability to post in Report a Scammer. This would allow some of the major market users to reply to incidents with impostors and the like. They'd be able to quickly post their side before any reputation damage occurs.

Maybe a longer user title? The character limit right now is so small that you can hardly fit a small phrase in.

That's questionable. We would definitely have to implement an EXTREMELY strict set of guidelines for this to ensure users don't go posting on reports unnecessarily. I can just see so many things going wrong with this....

Edit: I'll add it to the list. I'm just not so sure it's the best idea though.

I thought of another one, but they come down to two separate suggestions.

Increased Avatar dimensions - Avatars can't be massive, but it would be nice if you could have a bigger avatar a (say extra 25-50 pixels based on your donor amount). There would have to be a cap eventually on the size of avatar's as there would obviously have to be a Forum wide limit on how big they could be.

Ability to upload a bigger avatar - Again, a usergroup issue, but then again it could be fitted in with the other perks. It would be awesome if you could upload your own bigger avatar. It would save the need for posting in the thread in the donor lounge and save the Globals / Admins hassle by needing to take the time to change people's avatar's for them.

I really don't think avatar limits need to be any bigger than they already are.

I believe the reason this isn't already implemented is due to constraints within the vbulletin system (although I could be mistaken)

The ability of editing own titles? I feel like that might be giving too much power or giving mod powers to a normal person but hey it's just a suggestion that I could find very useful.

And maybe (but probably not) a program within sythe that when you activate screen shots and saves the image? Not much thought given to this one but I could see expansion in the idea in the future.

This is currently an administrator ability, and I don't foresee it being changed as users could (and ultimately would) abuse it.
