Market Thread + Infraction Build Up
I've been thinking this for a while now, and I've finally decided to suggest it.
Some of the traders on the market has workers or partners. Some gets infracted, and eventually temp banned.
The suggestion here is once someone's infraction has built up and gets temp banned, with majority of the infractions coming from their thread, said thread(s) will be locked.
Why do this? It can, and for all we know it already is, be abused. Let's say I "hire" 10 workers. That's more than enough for a gold business. But their job would be to excessively bump the thread. Sure they get infracted, but if I have 10 workers I wouldn't mind if one of them gets temp banned for 3/7 days. My thread would still get bumped up to the top. It's just unfair how people can have workers do such thing, without the other partner/owner being unaffected whatsoever. Once all workers and owners' infractions combined builds up to a temporary ban (5), their thread gets locked for 72 hours.
I know R2P has abused this, whether intentionally or not. I've never seen him break the bump rule, or sneakily bump. I have however seen Anne breaking it several times, probably the other workers too. It makes me wonder if it's being done on purpose.
A mod told R2P that if it was continued, it could eventually lead to a longer ban. Is R2P really even affected? He has 2 more workers that can bump his thread and himself. I suggest if an event like this arises in the future, the whole team should be affected. By affected, the thread closed till the ban is up.

Re: Market Thread + Infraction Build Up
In terms of bumps, I really think it's time to just place a technical limitation: all posts made in market sections do not bump the thread, unless the thread owner posts on it. Even then, it should be made to where only the posts made within 8 hours, or whatever the time is decided to be, bumps the thread.
Either way though, it's fine the way it is. I do support this suggestion, if it comes to it.

Re: Market Thread + Infraction Build Up
Team members aren't allowed to bump threads through each of their own 8 hour intervals. From when I ran my questing service/was part of a questing team, we were allowed ONE eight hour bump amongst the 6 of us.
R2P (just as an example because he was in the OP, not pointing any fingers) can bump his thread at say 4:00 PM, but that doesn't mean Anne can bump it at 5:00 PM. Her as well as Kevin12345 need to wait the full eight hours to bump again.
That's how it works with all teams/companies on Sythe. At least, that's what I was told.

It is. But let's say Annie continues to break the rule and gets temp banned (She already got temp banned). How come she is the only one that takes the hit? R2P loses nothing, he can bump his thread, so can his other workers. Now if it was a thread owned by 1 person, you'd never see him breaking the rule this many times. Because if he gets temp banned, he's out of business for 3 days. It's not the case for R2P, he gets his thread bumped up and faces no punishment really.

Re: Market Thread + Infraction Build Up
I get what your saying but in a sense they are the top sales in RSGP at points throughout Sythe. Not saying others such as grave aren't big nor am i saying are your sales good either. Just imo this thread seems a little 1 sided and put directly at R2P and I dont think it is fair.

So that allows him to use that specific loophole in the rules? Because he has the top sales in RSGP. I wonder what Arcus, a $2,500 donor, can do, since Sythe must have benefited more from him. Arcus does have a worker, if I was him after reading this thread, I'd tell her to get back on her account and continuously bump every time she's unbanned.
If he's allowed to do it, then so am I?

Re: Market Thread + Infraction Build Up
Your arrogance here is bliss Im just stating these are two seperate entities. Why punish R2P for something someone else did.. Regardless of his worker or not. if a random person bumped his thread for him with selling/buying questions. Should he get in trouble for that too?

The only reason his worker is here is because of him? Hence the name. R2P would get punished if his worker scammed. The same goes with partners. You are really not bringing up an argument, once I've answered your question, you move onto a different point.
I could get someone right now, who would probably take the hit of getting a temp ban. I'd just say they're my partner, and they'd excessively bump. He takes the hit, he still gets paid in the end. We both win. No one is really punished.

Re: Market Thread + Infraction Build Up
Quite honestly Apith is pretty right.
However there is in the rules you cannot bump for eight hours, being with all your partners. What could it matter the big guy that a small worker under him gets temp banned?
One bump more every four hours could make him potentially quite a few bucks.
I agree here with Apith, this should be punished. Either by temp banning them all, or by locking that specific thread.
Nice find too, I never thought of this.

The staff enforce the rule on a person by person basis. Any problems with that will be taken into consideration if/when they arise.
