Why do we not allow cracked MC accounts?

Craiglist offers things at a much lower price.

What people do off site such as cracking porn accounts, MC accounts, Orgin accounts. Why should we care?

This is a black market after all. Why should we care how some things are obbtained yes a lot of people are here for the community but its the market.

Everyone has there own set of skills.

Gold buyers and sellers control the RSGP market and make there profit like that.

Questers get trusted and quesst on other peoples account for $.

Bug abusers sell bugs, and glitched items for money.

Crackers take time to crack some passwords to get the account.

Account recoveres mostly recover 5+ year old accounts that will never be touched again and sell the gold off of there..

How is cracking for $, different then questing for $?

Change the motto or change the rules.

I'm not saying unban Scammers off site, Ratters off site, Phishers off site just to be clear.

I don't see how a gold farming operation is any different then account recovering.

My suggestion change the motto to something else. Such as the Black market for virtual online games since thats what it's stricken to be.
OR
Allow the sale of cracked accounts without mentioning it.

So we don't get sued and shut down.

Virtual goods include credit card #'s, bank information. It's a virtual good I'm not saying allow that am I?

Most people do crack them from a DB and just use dictionaries to get the password.

You obviously have had some issues with users on the website, ranting about imperfections won't change the situation. If you get scammed or infected by another user report them and fix the solution, don't add to it.

It's a motto. It isn't like a guideline. My suggestion is to get over yourself. Sythe avoids legal tangles by avoiding any illegal aspects of trade. We are a runescape blackmarket, not Hackforums.

You're trying to make an argument that a website (Craigslist) has no rules when in-fact they do, as do we.

Our slogan is "The Craigslist of virtual goods" not "We're Craigslist".

We have our set of rules and so do they, no one here knows what items being sold in the marketplace are "duped" or glitched, nor can they control that because the buyer isn't going to make a thread stating he glitches items.

Individual members from HF have been charged with crimes in the past.

Selling anything cracked and not getting caught will result in you selling it. If you get caught you are banned. They are not going to allow knowingly cracked recoveries sales because you would profit off of illegal activity(Not illegal on the site... Illegal by the fucking government)

This is just becoming a flame/rant thread..the motto is meant to be fun and catch the 'spirit' of the website, not what the rules are set by. If you don't like it, there are plenty of other forums you could try, Sythe knows what he is doing and trying to keep as little legal confrontation as possible.

While individuals would be charged with crimes I presume that the owners would be notified of such and asked to help in the investigation something I can guarantee that no one wants to do..
