Diablo III Trading Forum Needed - ASAP!
Diablo 3 is the biggest launch since World of Warcraft. Sythe needs to hit the ground running and get RWT forums up for it ASAP! No further explanation needed, get these up and running!

Re: Diablo III Trading Forum Needed - ASAP!
I haven't played Diablo III yet, but I know it's turning out to be very popular (with some of the upper staff even playing it). New sections aren't going to be added/merged/deleted until after VB4 though (which should be here very soon). I see where you're coming from however.

Re: Diablo III Trading Forum Needed - ASAP!
Totally agree with this, Diablo 3 is fucking amazing, and I was already looking for a RWT thread...Although I do believe that blizzard is going to actually be selling Diablo 3 gold themselves...

The problem with this is we had basically the same claim with SW:ToR, and look at how fast that crashed and burned.

Re: Diablo III Trading Forum Needed - ASAP!
I say we just wait and see what happens with the game. It's hard to tell at the moment if it will take off or not, with SW: ToR, everyone was like OMFG when it was released, then after a few weeks people started leaving. So just wait and see.

I feel this is different though, N4N0. To be honest, I never saw an advert advertising SW, it's not as big as Diablo III and I think Diablo is going to be very popular, I've already seen a lot of people who will be botting once the bots are released and I'm sure they'd want the section to be added so they can trade. If you create it, I don't think it'll crash and burn.

Re: Diablo III Trading Forum Needed - ASAP!
SW:TOR was completly different IMO, it was kind of dumb, basically just a remake of world of warcraft with light sabers. Diablo 3 is a lot different, it's an amazing game with years of game play built into it.

I see where your coming from, but nothing will be done unless it begins to overtake the other games market.

There's no reason to not try to jump on and get people here for a new game...

Re: Diablo III Trading Forum Needed - ASAP!
No support, new sections are made when there is enough activity revolving around the subject. LoL and SW:ToR had the same claims, but the sections are barely active. Unless they show a lot of activity later on, a section dedicated solely to Diablo III will not happen. Just use "other games" for now.

Re: Diablo III Trading Forum Needed - ASAP!
The game has only just come out and I don't actually know that many people that have it..
Possibly wait a month or so and see how popular it turns out to be?

This.
Additionally, the auction house with real-world currency eliminates the need for a black market. I think you can even buy in-game gold with RW currency in their AH, not sure about that though.
The game is too fast-paced for anyone to need to hire an account trainer/service guy, so that aspect is out.
Botting may fetch some profit if someone knows how to program one, but we don't need a new forum to facilitate the few members who are actually capable of that.
Last thing that remains is account sales... I know little about blizzard account sales, only that I've only seen those sort of transactions in the WoW market..

Re: Diablo III Trading Forum Needed - ASAP!
Support. What people are forgetting is that there pretty much already is a market established for the game. What I mean by this is, the diablo 2 black market was huge, and arguably the first of its kind. Going into Diablo 3, the player base has multiplied exponentially, which means the market has to be there. Think about it, when people google something like "sell diablo 3 items online", and sythe is the first thing that pops up, chances are they are going to join. This will bring in lots of people to sythe and may actually finally establish another market besides runescape.
Also as for the RL auction house, it most likely will not cater to all types of payment methods, and I guarantee it won't have RSGP as an option, lol. Plus I have heard there is a daily or weekly limit on how much you can spend. This also opens up the need for a black market. We really should get the jump on this while we can.
Edit: Oh and I am sure there will be the need for leveling/account services. Although the game is fast paced as moh said, there is always lazy people. Im sure someone who wants to use a level 60 for farming is not going to want to have to play through the game multiple times to reach that goal.
Edit: One more thing. Say the market doesn't boom, so what? It can be removed. There is no reason not to take the chance as its not a permanent decision. What if we're right? What if the market does boom? Then we just gained a large amount of people. And if it doesn't, oh well, remove the section.

Re: Diablo III Trading Forum Needed - ASAP!
If there's a limit on how much you can buy, then it's viable to open a market, but definitely not to convenience RSGP-to-Diablo sales. RSGP is hardly a market anymore for anyone besides big-time sellers like R2P here

RSGP is still used as arguably the main currency on Sythe though.
And like I said before, there is nothing to lose by taking the risk. It could only benefit Sythe.

I'd support this suggestion with the removal of the SWTOR

Re: Diablo III Trading Forum Needed - ASAP!
If this isn't cause for a D3 section then I don't know what is:
http://www.ign.com/articles/2012/05/...-auction-house
Blizzard has delayed the real-currency auction house to an undisclosed date. This is the PERFECT time to establish a market! There will be no better opportunity then now!

Exactly.
If the upper-staff don't add a new section for this within a week, then it's just retarded. Adding another section isn't going to hurt anyone and if it's a question of moderation- hire some new staff. Surely there's enough kids ass-kissing that you could have your pick.
This section is necessary, even if Blizzard is going to be selling the gold themselves. I don't think I need to explain this.
Get the section up, or there will be regrets.

I agree with this. SWOTR is a pointless section and the market is tiny.
