Thread Requirements: Questing & Torso Services
Plain and simple, in order to start a thread inside the, "Questing & Torso Services" you must have "XXX" amount of posts. There's no need for a humongous, intricate paragraph stating "why," because any member may pop in and out to view other members services. This decreases the probability of scams for customers who are looking for active members with solid services, instead of fly by nights who have a whopping 14-15 posts and are claiming themselves to be "trusted". It's only a matter of time before you see a post saying, "changed my pass" thrown up out of the abyss. Honestly speaking, if you are going to run a service, then you might as well have proof that you're active, and somewhat dedicated member to Sythe beforehand. And there's only two ways to prove your dedication here, either vouches or posts. The post limit doesn't have to be outrageously high, or involve the number of vouches one has. Active members or better, in my opinion would work out just fine.

Re: Thread Requirements: Questing & Torso Services
We aren't trying to be nazi's over the services people are allowed to offer, and I personally am highly against this as I personally got my start offering services on sythe as a newcomer. If people have intentions on scamming, they are going to do it regardless of their post count or vouch count. This just won't happen. I won't close this (Yet) as I'm willing to see some input from other users, but I can almost guarantee this isn't going to happen.
Also - I've closed the poll. They are pointless in these threads. The final decision is still ultimately up to staff and polls aren't going to sway our opinion in one way or another. People can post their opinions on this rather than just leaving a simple yes/no on a poll.

Re: Thread Requirements: Questing & Torso Services
This was suggested before but mainly to enter the market section and I believe it was turned down because of the unnecessary spam involved with people spamming up their post count to get access to the section. As n4n0 said above if somebody is going to scam, they will scam regardless of the barrier currently preventing them.
Take ip bans for an example even with their ips banned scammers still get back on the forums because it is only a small barrier, regardless of ip bans people still get access to the forums when they aren't wanted and will do the same to get into the market.

This pretty much sums it up for me.

However, I think that vouches/post count do lower the chance of scamming by a bit. But there have been enough people with loads of post count and vouches that still scammed at the end of their career.
I think it's fine the way it is. You can still stand out by adding stuff to your title like [200$ Donator / 300+ Vouches] and things like that.

Re: Thread Requirements: Questing & Torso Services
In addition to everything stated above, all this would do is make it harder for new members to use the site as a place of business. We want to grow and we want to make it easy to grow. This does against that for really no real gains in terms of safety, etc.
