I've seen too many people selling giftcards, which 95% of them are virtual, just the code, you never actually ship the card. Many threads get locked for not having picture, but I doubt it's necessary in most cases.

If these cards are gonna be sold, they should be in the Digital currency and virtual items section.

Same goes for buying threads (One of which is mine that should be moved)

I am sort of indifferent to it, because these items aren't digital currencies really but they aren't tangible money. It probably should be moved to the digital currency section but I don't think it is really that huge of an issue.

I personally would never approve such a sticky in one of my sections. People oftentimes use stolen credit cards to buy gift cards and sell the codes here. There are also loads of fraudulent methods of obtaining gift cards. The way to weed all of these out is to require the card is a physical card.

That's the point, separating the online ones with the physical ones. Physicals SHOULD have a picture...

Well you could argue that online ones should have a picture too? You can check your balance online with like 95% of cards, so you could always take a picture of your balance screen and block out all traces of card number etc. So both should have mandatory pictures.

You won't really advertise something you don't have... (Unless you are a trusted person who wants to "sell $1000 GC" and leave Sythe stupidly?) But most online(VIRTUAL) GCs can be charged back(Has happened to me with Amazon).

Even if virtual were to be accepted in non-virtual the distinction MUST be made. And there's no point in screenshots as these can be found in internet...(That's the main problem)

Most people sell gift cards in the non-virtual items section as it is. I don't see the need to confuse people more by making them move somewhere else. Perhaps the section is somewhat misnamed but that's another issue. I would actually argue that gift card sales, both virtual and physical, should be moved to non-virtual items for simplicity
