What do you think if all/high donators would have an option to disable ads?

This would make more people to donate, because most of us hate ads and it would be a big advantage of it.

If some of the donators would still like to see adds, they could change the option in the Donation control panel.

Moreover, there are several ways, to do this. We could do this for all the donators or to do for all the 20$+ or 50$+ Donators. And in default the ads showing option would be on, if a member would like to have it off, he would need to go to his Donation control panel.

If this is easy to imply then maybe. The ads don't bother me much though.

Ads don't bother me at all. Although if you are donator $300+ or something along those lines then I think you should have the option to disable some or all ads if the option exists.

It's actually not a bad idea, although I'm not sure if that's incentive enough for people to donate. The ads are very non-intrusive as it is

I can say it would make a tiny difference. Sometimes when I am on my phone I accidentally click the ads. But it doesn't do anything but take 3 seconds of my life to click the back button.

Lym, there are atleast 4 ads on the main page. Donations also helps Sythe out and more Donations helps Sythe even more.

Allowing donars this perk could potentially mean the amount of money we get from Advertises drops, as we do have a large amount of donars, and most if not all of the big market traders are donars, Im pretty sure the people who advertise on this site wouldnt like the fact that they're ads are not being viewed by the most active on sythe.

Besides, a steady cashflow from ads is much better than a onetime large sum from a donating member, No support.

There's two at the top and two at the bottom. You don't even read anything in those spaces, and they don't stretch the page out at all either.

I'll be honest, I don't even notice them and they bring in revenue for Sythe so I think we should leave them there.

I mean it's not an amazing amount of incentive, the ads are not nearly as pestering as the RuneScape F2P ads, but it would be a nice perk. Will be donating 50$ soon

I actually support this.
Even if you get an extra 25 in donations due to this it will have paid off..
(I highly doubt that Sythe users who have hit the point of donating actually click on ads anyway)

Sythe probably gets $20-40 from the ads per day probably more considering how many people are on the site., It will most likely bring more income with the ads, rather than people donating for the ads to be removed.
