The real way to change your IP Address.

No bullshit like:

- ipconfig /release
- ipconfig /renew
- VPN
- Proxy
- Taking router offline for a while
- No software
- Calling your ISP


The basic idea is to make your ISP think you have a new router.

So you're basically changing the WAN Mac Address of you router to make your ISP think you have a new one. Then when you reconnect to your ISP by resetting your modem it won't recognise your WAN Mac Address in their DHCP Table. So they'll create a new record for it with a new ip address.

I would show screenshots but I can't due to my network being different now, but if your router has an option to clone mac address or change your WAN Mac Address somehow then this method will work for you.

It's allowed, I've seen other threads that wanted to achieve the same but their method fails.
Most people aren't aware that it's easy to change your private ip and that your public ip adress is completely different.

I am looking forward to this, I only know the VPN or changing your settings way Will we have to download anything and will it affect any other parts of out computer other than hiding out IP address?

It won't effect anything on your computer and no software / downloads are involved.

Although I know a very simple method with my ISP to change my IP, I'd be happy to see yours. I usually create a few rs accounts per ip as I don't want them all banned with the same IP.

You probably contact them though, my method doesn't involve that.

Most ISP's won't change your IP on request btw.

Yeah, I understand most ISP's won't change it however my ISP, you don't even have to contact them in order to be able to change your IP, it's a 2 minute job to change it without directly contacting the ISP.

You need your ISP to be BT for this to work. If you have the infinity BT hub you simply reset it and your given a new IP once it's turned back on.
