Many new mac users may think the operating system does not have this feature because there is not a specific key on the keyboard for it. I am going to show you how to do it, and where the screenshot will appear.

Step 1.
Open up whatever page you want to screenshot. Don't sorry about hiding the cursor as it won't show up in the picture.

Step 2.
Press Command + Shift + 3. This is modeled below.



Step 3.
Go to the desktop. It should be in the next open spot, when a new row forms it forms to the left. If it is not there look in the top right corner, when your desktop is full of icons they stack in this position.

Step 4.
Head over to tinypic or a picture uploading site of your choice. Upload it than get the link.

Step 5.
Add the link to whatever you need! If you need it as a picture add the tags .
