Sythe Interview: Finn!
This time, I'll be interviewing someone I'm sure you all would like to know about, and the best part is, I'll be using all the questions that you have suggested on THIS thread!
Okay. Are you ready, Finn?
I am
Why do you stay at Sythe?
At risk of offering a homogeneous response to that question, it genuinely is because there are some individuals on Sythe.org who I'd actually consider friends. I stay because I like being around them. Plus I love to see Sythe.org developing further.
Do you consider your position on Sythe another reason to stay?
I suppose so. When it comes to Sythe.org, there's only two options for me: stay (be on staff) or leave (completely). There have been a few times when I haven't been on the staff team for brief amounts of time and I find it intolerable. You don't know what's going on and don't have the authority to make decisions. It's painful to see things need to be done but aren't being done
People usually say you don't do much on Sythe, but be rude (I'm not the one saying this. How would you respond to this?
I'd tell them to kindly perish in an avalanche. I do a lot for Sythe.org. I haven't actually heard anyone say that, but if someone genuinely thought that, I'd seek to show them what I do
If there was some one that you banned that was reading this, what would you say to them?
Depends who they are and what they've done, I suppose.
Off the top of my head, let's say it was The Dark.
I'd call him a fat fucker
People usually think you make most of the promotion-related decisions. Any suggestions to others wanting to join the staff?
I honestly think that, due to recent circumstances, the best way for people to be considered for a staff position is for them to demonstrate their legitimacy, stay away from those lacking in integrity, and be an all-round contributing, kind member. There is no ''magic path'' to getting on staff like some people make out there is
I see. What's the stupidest PM/Comment/Post/etc. you've seen on Sythe
Lol, stupid posts are prolific. I couldn't put a finger on THE stupidest one, but posts where heterosexuals try to claim homosexuality is a choice are stupid. How the fuck would a heterosexual know? Pardon my French, by the way
Are you currently or have been in a relationship?
I've been in a few ''relationships'' with girls in the past, but never with a male
So I'd be correct in saying that you're a virgin?
I am indeed
Good for you. What would you say to all those teenage kids that think that losing your virginity at 12 is "cool"?
Honestly? I probably wouldn't say anything to them. I'd raise an eyebrow like a pompous bastard and laugh at them
What's the naughtiest thing you have ever done?
Probably when I spat in someone's face in Starbucks. (with good reason) I do regret that, though
If you don't mind me asking, why did you do that?
She threw a scorching cup of coffee over my very expensive Evisu jacket
Why did she do that? Was she retarded or something?
I can't remember, I probably provoked her though, which is why I regret spitting in her face after she did it
Ah. What is the craziest thing you have ever done then?
God, I really don't know. These questions are making me acknowledge how boring my life is. I don't think I've ever done anything ''crazy'', but I do lots of ''objectionable'' things
That question was from ChrisColpitts . What sort of "objectionable" things do you do then?
I'm just quite a vitriolic person and don't take shit from people. I just remembered having to go to this awful ''bonding weekend'' in the British countryside with my school a few years ago, and the irritating instructor was trying to make me climb up this massive thing (to jump off at the top). It wasn't my thing, and he was treating me like a child, so I decided to act like a child. I just climbed half way up, sat there and closed my eyes and halted his ridiculous activities for about 30 minutes. Stupid twat.
Lol. What is the most expensive item you have ever bought?
Hmm. Probably this laptop which I'm talking to you on right now. It was like £550, I think. I made the money myself, so I felt quite proud of myself.
You live with your mother, am I right? Anyone else living with you or just the two of you?
Yeah, her boyfriend. And my babies.
How many dogs do you have? Which one is your favourite?
Three. Two English bulldogs and a weimaraner. My weimaraner is my favourite because I'm allergic to the bulldogs and they're as docile as fuck
What is your favourite fast food restaurant?
Probably McDonalds. I must admit, I do quite like it. It's like Britney Spears' music: very, very trashy and very 'shit', but, at the same time, very, very good
Who do you have the most respect for?
On Sythe.org, probably Sythe. Others I respect are Matthew, Steph, SMR and Verts. In my entire life... Nina Simone. She might be dead but she has left lots of things for me to respect.
Do you hold any grudges against anyone, whether it be online or IRL?
People don't really think this of me, but I'm not really a grudge-holding person. There is one kid I know in real life who I despise, though.
What did that kid do to make you despise him so?
Joined my school... was intelligent, interesting, open. He had all of the qualities in a person that I like, and then he started to morph (into a archetypal private schooled cunt). I wasn't really bothered that he started to change, but as we started to drift apart, he decided to tell the entire school about my sexuality. So I went into school a few days later, and, unbeknown to me, the entire school knew. He never apologised for that, and so I'd never forgive him.
How long have you played Runescape?
Oh God, since I was like ten. I don't really play anymore, though. Does anyone really care how long I've played Runescape, though?
Apparently, he does. Otherwise, he wouldn't have asked . Whats your Favorite Mini Game?
I have no idea. Like I said, I don't really play.
Do you have a life? (What an idiotic question!)
I'd say so. I might not be satisfied by it, but I have friends, a sense of humour, I go out drinking, etc., etc.
What are your hobbies?
I don't really have any, so, instead, I'll tell you that anything pertaining to the ''great outdoors'', reading, singing, dancing, acting, etc. are certainly not hobbies. If I could magically have a hobby, it would probably be... pottery making
What do you aspire to be when you're older?
Understood (and as rich as fuck)
How are you doing in college?
Excellently. In the national exams, I got 'AAAAA', which was the best possible achieveable set of marks. I'm applying to Oxford this October. Hopefully I'll get in. Probably not.
That's excellent. On behalf of all those on Sythe, congratulations!
Lol, ta
Do you have any bad habits?
Yes, I was biting my nails as you asked me that. I also pick off my spots (zits for the Americans)
Do you have any pet peeves?
Yes, lots. I don't like burping, people who rub their feet together, people who don't cover their mouths whilst coughing/sneezing, people who eat loudly, people who drink loudly, etc.
Ah. Any last shout-outs to the community before we end the interview?
<3 Verts
That's it Thanks for your time!
Bon voyage, madam

Re: Sythe Interview: Finn!
I found this a bore, your questions were really lacking something. I especially didn't like the Runescape question, "Whats your Favorite Mini Game?" I honestly gave that a laugh, like really who would find that interesting? Some of your questions sounded like you were an air headed kiss ass, and were really just focused on the question above which I found extremely annoying because it could have fit into one question by it self. I would've mainly been focused on the juicy stuff, like for example he said that he currently lives with his mom and her boyfriend, well why? Is his parents divorced or separated or did they just never get married and if they did divorce does he know why? And how did it effect him, dealing with the situation growing up or as a young adult. When did he first realize he was homosexual and if he is a virgin, how does he know if he truly likes men if he has never been with one sexually or just dating. How was his child hood, does he have any embarrassing stories about his past that he'd like to share? ETC ETC ETC, I really would've liked to know a lot more about him then just why did he spit on a girl and his most expensive purchase.
