About Avatars
There has been some confusion lately about avatar sizes which I would like to clear up. There has also been some desire for donators to have larger avatars, which I will also address.
Donator Avatars
While I previously denied this request, I have decided to grant it after all. Donators can now have a larger avatar than normal members. I did some testing to see what the maximum size should be and have decided on a size. (See the section below for the exact dimensions allowed.)
Staff Avatars
Staff can now have larger avatars than normal members as well.
Avatar Sizes
For some reason, maxmium avatar sizes were not in the official rules. Well, now they are:

If you have an avatar larger than the maximum size for your group, you will receive an infraction. It would be wise to check your avatar's size and to make sure it's not too large.
Do not ask mods to give you avatars larger than the maximum! Not only will you receive an infraction for violating the rules, but the mod may suffer consequences as well.
If you have any questions please be sure to ask!

Re: About Avatars
I'm glad to see this implemented. I was think the avatar size would be 120 x 160, but oh well this good too. Can't wait til Matthew gets my donation :P

Re: About Avatars
Will the donator avatar size limit be granted in the user CP or will we have to request the change to a global + ?

Pm a mod to change it.
If you want a gif find one thats 100x150 on google somewhere.
I'm sure Skele has plenty of good resources, rofl, or try /gif/

Re: About Avatars
You should be able to do it yourself in your user cp. Try it before PMing a mod!
If you can't, someone post here letting me know so I can the permissions.
The maximum file size is 65535 bytes or about 63 kb. This limit is only for images uploaded to the server. If you use a remote avatar (as in, a url) then you can use any file size you want.

Haha, thanks for the information.
Benwise changed it for me. My original gif was too large, so I got it resized, but I didn't try to apply it myself, so I don't know if that works yet.
<--- So check out my new avy. Also.. check out 2,000 posts --->

Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 80 by 80 pixels or 64.0 KB (whichever is smaller).
