Trust is not something you gain overnight. Do not go around looking for trust let it come to you. Just go on about your normal forum business and set a good example in the marketplace and your trust will come naturally.

First of all don't scam anybody because that would lead you to a ban and it's a start on doing bigger fraud's in the future. Do services that you are good at, like I have with my questing service. Basically anything that would help the community not effect it.

Trust comes from reputation.
If you get a good reputation, you will gradually become more trusted.
Common things that contribute to ones reputation, and trust.
Forum Title (Mod)
Trading Amount.
Vouches.
Donator rank.
Join date.
Post Count.
As FireZ said, this isn't an overnight process, it could take probably half a year if not more.

Honestly, one of the best ways to get trusted is to get a fun rank. One of the easier ones to acquire is the mudkip rank, seen here.
All it takes is you have to dress up in a mudkip costume to show you are dedicated to Sythe then post it in the spam forum, and an admin will award the rank to you.
If you have any other questions about how to get any of the other fun ranks, feel free to PM me and I can tell you about the instructions for the others if they interest you more.

Stay around sythe for a year or more, provide a service, or use other peoples services. Once you accumulate a good number of vouces, post count, and time spent on sythe you'll be considered 'trusted' though it depends on who is judging you. Older sythe members will take more for you to show you're trusted, and newer ones will take less.

Well if you want to do it without really doing any work, you could start by donating to the site. It is unlikely that a member would scam for more than they donated (at least that's what I personally think). So if you donated $50 to the site, you would probably have decent luck getting people to trust you in trades up to $50.
Obviously the best way is to start a legitimate business to get lotsa vouches |

Just be yourself. Talk to people, contribute to threads. Donate! Never even think about scamming. Report scammers and or rulebreakers! Don't try to be a mod though. |
