Re: Sythe business team
I find it funny, someone simply posts "Let's make a business team" and people just blindly come and say sure when there's not one scrap of information on what this "business team" will be doing.
Contact me when you have something solid, as it is it seems like a random get together agreeing to do something someday to gain some money.

Re: Sythe business team
First of all we need to chat a bit, I cannot just come up with something until we all agree on one thing.

Re: Sythe business team
I'm not really interested in joining as I have little experience as I'm only a 16 year old (soon to be) business administration apprentice, but I'd love to see how this goes for you guys, so good luck!

Re: Sythe business team
This is stupid, and let me tell you why.
The biggest thing I'm scoffing at this "proposal" is the fact that you don't know what you're doing yet, and you're looking for possible ventures. To complicate matters, you want to include people from all over the world.
First, let me tell you that a successful business does not find members before coming up with an idea. Business opportunities are there to be seized. If you study the Fortune 500 companies, many of them were established due to a need the founder discovered or experienced. You don't search for opportunities, opportunities hit you in the face when you least expect it.
Second, there is the problem of where to incorporate a business. Will you do it in the US, or will you do it in a foreign country? What are the laws of the country you intend to do business with? Do they affect your revenues/operations at all? There are also citizenship/visa issues. For example, in the US, if you want to form an LLC/LLP (probably the best option for a private business), the managers (owners) must either be American citizen or have an US working visa. Remember, you can't just create a thread and offer services on Sythe and start making money, which leads to my third point.
What about taxes? How will you choose to be taxed, as a partnership or an LLC or something different? What tax laws/restrictions will you be under? Remember that (depending on country), if you deposit more than a certain amount of money into a bank account without reporting your income, the IRS or its international equivalent will come a-knocking. Trust me, they are not very pleasant people and are a bitch to deal with. I'm assuming here that you won't keep the money on PayPal forever.
In the USA, 50% of new startups fall under a year. Now, perhaps you have some great ideas that would obviously be counterproductive to reveal on a public forum, but I don't see it. The fact that you're trying to acquire members before deciding on a topic is very laughable. Also, I don't know why you'd want more people to join in; everyone knows that more members = more headaches/problems and less headaches. I'd suggest you wait until you learn what you're doing or start up a university degree before you attempt this endeavor. Also, I wouldn't be looking for partners through Sythe...

Re: Sythe business team
Sac, most of these issues won't happen. Unless it is a big business, then the taxes may be paid.

Re: Sythe business team
I am very interested in this. I have a few ideas that all require a team. I have thousands of posts over many sites, including my own which has unfortunately been closed.
I would love to get in touch on skype @ mehcookiezz o.o

That's the most fucking retarded thing I've ever heard. It doesn't matter if your business has 1 or 1000000 people, you still need to pay taxes on any profits you make. Of course you can adjust your accounting books to make it look like a loss each year but it costs you very skilled accountants to do that.
You are clearly not capable of running a business. I hope you like losing money and becoming a part of a statistic.

Sac, that's not what I ment. All the legal things will depend on what we will do and where. I cannot comment anything until we have discussed with everyone.

Based on the level of knowledge and the actions of the people throughout this thread, I did not expect anyone to even understand business basics. Obviously I dumbed this down.
Well, good luck to your business, but I can almost guarantee that it will be a failure, if it even starts up at all. Besides, more people = less profit.
I don't feel like rechecking this thread so I'll leave 1 word of advice: don't search for opportunity, opportunity will find you.

I you the one with the full stop at the end or without? I think you have an impersonator. Either way, I added the one without the full stop on skype.

Re: Sythe business team
I just started my own business a few moths ago, I sell body jewelry. The profit margin is nearly 15/1. I've done pretty well so far, the only hard part was getting all my permits and licenses.
