I looked into my inbox today to found out I received an infraction, which I was kinda mad about, because I feel like here at Sythe they just throw around infractions. But thats for another time and another thread.

So I go to my inbox, find out about my infraction. Then I go to my profile for the very first time, and see this.



The first three infractions i didn't even receive a private message about, and was completely oblivious too.

If I'm going to get infracted I'd at least like the courtesy to be told I've been infracted?

I went through a period of informing every person when they'd been infracted, and although the person is NOT meant to reply to the message.... 9/10 people do.
I still TRY and send a message each time (except when I'm in a hurry), but it's understandable other moderators don't because of the fact that a many of the members on Sythe are dipshits and decide they want to abuse you via PM for infracting them.

Gohan, it only notifies them by PM if we fill out the boxes called "administrator note" below the bubbles for the infraction's reason. He's complaining that we don't send the messages.

We don't send messages because people reply to them complaining. Just check your profile and, if you don't like one of the infractions, post in the Dispute Forum.

Oh then just check your profile every other week. It's no biggie.

Well yesterday was the first time I've ever been to my profile on Sythe.... On most other Vbulletin forums, you can just click on your name and it will take you to your profile, and since I never posted much I didn't feel the need to try and get to my profile.

You can click your name to go to your profile on Sythe as well. One of your infractions was by me, and I always use the administrator note section so it must've sent you a PM.

Also, they are all valid.

I used to get infraction PMs from Badger and Ben a year ago. Now, no one PMs. I don't mind. I visit my profile every single day so I'm well informed about every infraction I receive.

The PMs are sent only if we put a little note in the note spot which I used to not know, so I try to always do it. Just check your profile now and then to see if you got anyy.

Maybe Jimmy (coder???) can make a new system that dosent show who sent the infraction and making you unable to reply?

But yeah, i think that you should send a PM with it. Then if someone replys, just delete it without reading it as the person clearly didnt read yours. I almost never check my profile

^You can't really make a PM without a sender. There isn't much point anyways.
