Firstly, Lets start off with what ventrilo is. Ventrilo is a program you can use to communicate with other people online. You need a mic, Which you can buy from any electronic store such as best buy, and walmart. Secondly, You need to plug your mic into the correct location on your computer's tower. It should be color coded.( Green = Sound, Pink = Mic - ) Now, You need to download the Ventrilo Program. It can be downloaded at Ventrilo.com. Once you have downloaded Ventrilo, There should be a head like the picture above, on your desktop. Double click on it. This screen should pop up.

Now, I have put a red box around an arrow. Click it, To create your Ventrilo username. Once you click it a a screen should come up.

It should say Select< new < clone < deleted. Press new and this should pop up.

Put your username in the box. and press OK.

Above, I have put a red box around the next arrow you need to click. Click it and this screen should come up, Except that it doesnt have all this info and it is just availabe so you can press the " New " button.

Press the button that says " New " and enter anything you want and press OK. Now, On the hostname and IP enter the hostname and IP of the ventrilo server in which you wish to join, And press OK.

Alrighty, Now when you have done everything I have said, Press connect. When you get into the ventrilo server it should look like this.

Press " Setup " And this screen should pop up.

Click the box in which is in the red box. Down right below it in the rectangular box where it says " Hotkey " Press the key in there in which you want to press to talk for example if I wanted to use the number " 1 " to talk I hold down the number " 1 " and talk into my mic.

Really helpfull guide. I already know how to use ventrillo but would help beginners. and as for the color coded for the mic and the computer, mention that the green one is for sound and the pink one is for the mic. Thanks.
