Hi everyone, please help me out here. I am new to Paypal, and here is the story. I have this 50$ VISA Debit Card I got for my birthday, and I want to put some of that, lets say 30$, onto my Paypal account. How do I do that? I have just made the Paypal today and have done nothing to it, but create it. Can someone please help me with step by step?

Does paypal ever mail you anything confirming anything? or sending something when you purchase something or make a transaction?

No, PayPal is a strict online process. Everything will be emailed to you, this includes receipts, payments, subscriptions etc.

In order for PayPal to confirm your back account they will send you two small payments. Usually a few cents, which you will have to enter in the order they appear

The problem I am having now is that I add it like a regular credit card, but when I go to Link and Confirm the card it says "We were unable to verify this credit card. Please check if the information you entered is correct. If the problem persists, please try to enter a different credit card."

See I don't think the card HAS a billing address, so I can't use it?

I am pretty sure if you make an australian paypal, you dont need to even have a gift card to send money you can send straight from your paypal balance i beleive

Yes , you dont need any verification tho if you're Canadian or Australian.

Otherwise , credit card or bank account or just simple mail confirmation is required to be not limited.

well if i'm not mistaking it just goes on like a credit card. and u can use whatever. if u wanna use the 30 just use the 30 then take it off
