You will need the following programs:
Gadwin Printscreen
Dropbox (I have lots of invites for it, so you can pm me if you want. Include your email or I'll ignore it)

Download and install both programs (and register for dropbox and whatnot)

Your Gadwin Printscreen preferences should look like this:

As you can see you need to have it save the screen shots in your dropbox public folder. Dropbox then automatically uploads it.

Now to take a screen shot.

Hit printscreen, then select the area you want to take a picture of, and right click.

Then right click the drop box icon in the bottom right of your monitor.

Click on Web Interface

This will open a new tab in your browser.

From there click on Recent Events, then you can get a direct link to your image.

I know I didn't explain this in minute detail like other guides do, but anybody with half a brain can figure this out from the basic description I gave.

Good guide, but basically this is what I do, using pretty much the least programs as possible:

Ctrl+Printscreen > Open Paint > Paste > Crop, edit, save, etc > Upload to Photobucket > Post

Dropbox seems like a good program though, I'll probably get it.

Yeah this is a lot faster. I can take a screenshot and have a direct link to it in like 6 seconds.

This would be a a great feature if only you could crop the image, during the Print Screen process, but anyway thanks for telling people about DropBox, I use it at school for Web Support and it comes in handy with file sharing.

Good guide overall though.

You can.
That's what this setting is

When you hit print screen a box comes up and you drag it around the area you want.
