I have a linksys wireless-b broadband router, plugged to my computer. The computer recognizes it, says i'm connected, but when i try and open up a webpage i get a page cannot be displayed error. I can get into the router set-up. The router also has a light on indicating that i have internet.

for linksys you have to call you're internet provider and they direct the connection through it. it's a pain in the ass but that's linksys. i had the same problem.

I fixed it. I just enabled the MAC clone service.

just a little fyi, linksys router's often need reset. so if you go to turn on you're computer and the internet does not connect, but it does say you are connected to you're network. Just push that button in the middle of the linksys router because they often get dirt inside of them.

just a little info so when you're internet stops working because you're router has a little dirt in it, you don't go wasting your time calling someone.

Indeed i have a router to i clicked reset and that works and sometimes they stall out and still display that they have internet, all you have to do is un-plug the router and restart your computer it should be fixed then if not, clal your local internet provider and they will guide you threw the setup process.
