Just thought i'd add a suggestion to the forum since im new, Not quite sure if its out there already but im a nub with search bar

Im Recommending that there is a Rep feature or Vouch bar, where people leave feedback on a trade they have done with another member on Sythe. That way no one need keep track of 99,000 vouches they recieved and not loose the vouch if the person quits sythe or is inactive to verify.

The system would be based on posts put in market section and then the trade would need to be verified via pictures or what not to a moderator of the Rep bar.

Once the trade has been confirmed, the players both recieve +1 rep point. If the trade went bad, then the person/persons responsible will recieve -1 rep and possible bans etc.


Its all simple in theory, but would require a plan to achieve it from more of the knowledgable forum goers out there. Please post to help me understand the Pro's and Con's of this system.




Maybe you could restrict it to the recipient of the deal sending a picture confirming he recieved the goods, then posting it on the original Post he made. Then a mod deletes the thread, adds rep to involved participants.

A new section could be added for Un-resolved sales... after few weeks the post is moved there or deleted.

Then why is it a sign of trust on sythe? There are no rules against vouches?

Just because it is not endorsed by sythe doesn't mean it's not allowed. Other users seem to trust people will vouches, so that's how they determine how trusted someone is. It used to be only mod/veteran vouches mattering, but that changed somewhere along the line.

How would you go around verifying every trade, that would just be a hassle for everyone to take a picture of every trade

Its impossible. Vouches work fine.

People will abuse this.

I understand where you are coming from on this. Many people have useless vouches and spam up a post count. It's hard to tell who is trusted, unless you read each individual vouch.

I don't think this would work though. It seems good in theory, but the fact that mods are almost too limited as it is, this would cause further turmoil. Mods would have to work extra hard just to keep the same peace.

All I can suggest is do research on the person you're trading with and never trust anyone just by vouches.
