highkid, RID was unaffected by the macro detection system update.

I checked, and you haven't botted since before the update anyway. But a lot of us have. You were caught because you broke the RID guidelines, guideline 2 - publicising your RuneScape account:

That's the same account that was banned wasn't it? But even if it was a different account, finding out just one RS account you use, is enough for Jagex to work out all the accounts you use.

Even before the update, it was never safe to break the RID guidelines, every time you log into the bot, it tells you that. Your mistake was not botting, it was posting that thread... and there's no reason for any RID member to worry, or lay low, both before and after the update. RID is not like other bots, no player who followed our guidelines has ever been banned before. I don't understand why you blame the bot, when you were warned in advance, told everything you needed to do to beat the system, but chose to ignore it.
