Default Possible Free Runescape Membership

I do not know much about the inner-workings of our current telephone system, and I could not think of any other place to ask this question.

Runescape offers a paybyphone membership plan that bills you using a 900 number. This part is simple.

Caller ID Spoofing allows you to change your caller id by calling a different number to make it seem like your caller ID is different. Not really sure about the inner workings of this, but w/e.

Regardless of the number you spoof, you are not directly calling the 900 number, and therefore I would assume you would not be billed for the call. (Not tested: Riding on the fact that a spoofing service has not disabled 900 number access. Unlikely, but possible)

Unfortunately I do not have an environment conducive to testing this, but was wondering if the general idea was sound.

I assume that there could be serious repercussions of doing this (because the spoof line that you call through has your number), or it just wouldn't work at all and you would be flat out billed for the 900 call.

Hmm... This is a very good thought. I have no idea about it, on how it would work or not but very good thought... it could work

I don't believe this would work. I imagine caller id spoofing does just that, spoofs the caller id. This wouldn't change the line that 900 numbers charge too.

This is against the law (or at least it should be)... So I'm going to get this locked.
