Well I'm writing this thread because after looking around. Not a lot of people know much. I can pretty much be called a pot head, so i choose to educate the ignorant.

Feel Free to ask any questions pertaining to Marijuana. I'm here to help.
I Appreciate all intelligent input. If you can support me with more input., please post. If you feel that I am missing something or want to add something. Please do so.

• Dime Bag: .4-.9 grams-Most commonly sold to minors/beginners. If you smoke weed occasionally, then this bag is great.
• Dub: 1.0-2.5 grams-Very popular amongst the common smoker.
• Eighth: 3.5 grams-Sold a lot! Usually brought if you planning on to starting to sell. Or if you want a stash.
• Quarter: 7 grams-Enough to last the common smoker a while.
• Half Ounce: 14 grams-For the pot heads. Enough to keep you high for days.

There are numerous amounts of different types of Marijuana. For starters most weed strains are either Sativa or Indica. Sativa is marijuana that gives you a mind high when it is smoked and Indica gives you much more of a body stoned feeling. I Will List the most common. Then also, There ar OutDoor and Indoor Strains. Indoor usually giving a more relaxed feeling.

Smoking Tools

There are a wide variety of different tools used for smoking Marijuana. I will give the most basic.

• Rolling Paper - Thin papers used to roll joints. Joints are about "3 inches long.
• Cigars - Filled with tobacco which needs to be emptied. Once emptied use the paper. Used to make Blunts. Blunts are Roughly "4-5 1/2 inches long.
• Blunt Wraps - Basically the paper of a Dutch. Used to roll blunts.
• Pipes - Usually Metal or Glass. Packed in the bowl and lit. Then inhaled.
• Bongs - A Variety of Size,Shapes, Colors or metal or glass. Most generally used.
• Brownies - Used by potheads or group smokers. Great for a Get-Together.
• Vaporizer/Volcano - These can be homemade/store bought.
• Bubbler - A small water-pipe.
• Ghettobong - Home-made bong.
• Hookah - A Group Smoking bong.
• Apple - Some people actually make a bong out of this.

Guide: How to Make a Cheap and Efficient Bong

There have been many guides written on making "Bongs". But they usually contain materials hard to come buy or isn't so easy to make if your 14 Living with your parents. So I am writing this guide for all audiences. This guide is simple enough to make for any age.
Will Add Pictures if this guide receives good criticism.
 
How to Make a Home-Made Bong. 
(It Will Help to See a Real Bong First)
 
Materials:
1 Water Bottle
1 Pen(Fatter Pen Holds More Bud)
1 Pin/Needle
1 Lighter(For Lighting the Bud and alternative step)
A Pair of Scissors/Box Cutter(Something to Make a Hole)
Some Tin Foil(Can Give Cancer supposingly)
Steps: 
 
1) Take Your pen and start to take it apart. Take out the front and the back cap. Including the Ink,spring and anything else in It. You should only have the Pen Casing. This will be your downpipe. 
 
2) Take your scissors or whatever you have to make a hole, and pick up your bottle. Now about slightly lower then half of the bottle you should make a hole(About 2 1/5 Inches from the bottom). Make sure the Hole and just big enough to fit your Downpipe(You should have to MAKE your Pen Fit), and make sure the pen can touch the bottom of the bottle and the other half sticks out.Insert the pen into the newly made hole.Make sure its slanted and almost/nearly touches the bottom of the bottle.
 
2a) This is the alternative method and much better. Take your lighter. And keep the heat about 1 1/2 inches from the bottle(where you want your hole). This was change the temperature of the bottle whereas it will start to bend.It should only bend slight about 20 Degrees. This will cause the downpipe to easily slant into the bottom. Now bring the fire closer to the plastic to burn a hole. BUT DONT LET IT SIT FOR LONGER THEN 2 Seconds. This will cause your hole to be really big. Just make a small hole and push your downpipe through for a tight fit. This method easier and extends the bongs life span.
 
3) On the opposite side of the hole you just made you will take the scissors again and make a smaller hole. Not really small but small enough for your finger to cover. Make sure it is near the top. Not near the Top of the bottle but 1 1/2 inch lower then the neck.(The neck is under the cap of the bottle) 
 
4) Now take some Foil and make a bowl type bowl. It should be only big enough to fit on top of your pen. This is where you will insert your weed and light. Make sure you make 2-3 Holes into the foil with your needle so smoke and go into the bottle. This is called your Bowl. 
 
5) Now Fill the bottle with water so the downpipe is underwater. Don't fill it fully. 
 
Congratulations, you have successfully made you home-made bong. Keep in mind a Store brought one is better but this one serves its purpose just great.

Firstly, you should know that there are five parts to a bong. They are:
The mouthpiece: This is the opening at the top of the bong that you put your mouth over to inhale. 
The Chamber: This is where the smoke is held before you suck it in (the main part of the bong). 

The Carb (Also known as a shottey): This is the a small ventalation hold that air is let through to rush the smoke out of the bong and into your lungs. 

The Downpipe: The downpipe is the pipe in which the smoke travels through and takes it through the water and into the chamber. 

The cone piece (Also known as bowel): This is the cone shaped piece in which you place your marijuana and weed and light it.
Now comes the fun part, smoking it! To do so simply:
Light the marijuana that you have placed in the cone piece with a lighter or matches.
Begin sucking with your mouth over the mouthpiece, inhaling the smoke.
Continue lighting as you continue sucking in the smoke.
Once the bowel is empty (or you have had enough) stop lighting the weed and let your finger off the carb / shottey and inhale all the smoke in the chamber. Remember to inhale deeply.
Pull your mouth away from the mouthpiece of the bong and inhale.
Wait a few moments and then exhale.
And now you know how to use and smoke a bong. Enjoy.

Guide: How to Make Weed Butter(Needed for Weed Brownies)

Ingredients: 
1 lb of butter (real butter) 
1 oz of Marijuana
Directions:
 
Melt the butter in a sauce pan to boiling.
Add the marijuana and let boil until the butter
has turned green from the marijuana.
Pour butter through a strainer to remove all
the pieces of marijuana.
Chill until solid.

Guide: How to Make Weed Brownies

Ingredients:
6 ounces of unsweetened chololate
6 ounces (3/4 cup) of Marijuana butter
4 eggs
1 tablespoonful of vanilla
1/2 teaspoon of salt
2 1/2 cups of honey
4 cups of flour
3 tablespoons of Jack Daniels (optional)
Greased 9x12 baking dish or pan
Melt chocolate in a double-boiler saucepan, add the weed butter and honey, mix well, add eggs and mix again, add salt and vanilla, mix again, add flour, mix again. Pour into pan. Bake 35 minutes at 375 degrees. Remove from oven. Allow 1 hour to cool and set before cutting. Cut into 2 inch squares and place in gallon sized ziploc bag for storage or freezing.
For the perfect finish to a special dinner or a special evening try these gourmet honey weed brownies with a rich, complex flavour and velvety texture guaranteed to please the most discerning.
For variety with the weed brownies try adding 3 tablespoons of Jack Daniels, wild turkey, crown royal, or cognac to enrich the flavour; or 1 1/2 cups of cherry halves and 2 tablespoons of brandy; or drops of mint extract in batter to taste; or 2 tablespoons of instant coffee crystals dissolved in 1 tablespoonful of hot water.
Serve with rich coffee, espresso, port or cabernet.

You should post pictures of different types of smoking tools.

You forgot these:

Blunt - You purchase a blunt wrap, and roll it with weed.
Dutch - You use the casing of a cigar to roll something similar to a blunt.
^There is a difference^

Vaporizer/Volcano - These can be homemade/store bought.
Bubbler - This is a small water-pipe.
Ghettobong - Homemade bong.
Joint - You can only roll joints with ROLLING PAPERS. You can't use any other types of paper to roll one. You can find rolling papers at your nearest headshop
Pipes - These range anywhere from wood, to metal, to glass. Glass is preferred.

Also, smoking out of tinfoil is bad for you, and can possibly give you cancer so I suggest you stray from doing that. You can always make your bowl on your downpipe with something else.

For your strains, there are many other types of strains, and the ones you listed are the better types.

Purple Haze doesn't really exist, it's more like Purple Kush.

You forgot to add Headies to that list.

Also, around here, we just buy weed and we are told if it's Indoor/Outdoor so you might want to add that to your strains list too.

Also, search YouTube if you want to find out how to make any home-made smoking equipment.

You forgot one of the most cheapest strains; Schwag. It's sold cheap, and it gives you an okay high, makes you very tired afterwards, and a headache once it's over to some.

Ah, Billyy really already posted what I was going to add.

I also suggest not smoking from tin foil or a can,, as they can be really bad for you. You can easily make one out of a pen or highlighter, and it's much safer.

I'm Pretty sure Normal Paper burns faster then rolling paper. And is much harder.

You must not smoke this way much, because you'd be dead if you did. Normal paper is bleached to become whitened, so you are smoking bleach. GF? Use bible papers blank pages (WITHOUT INK) if you can't get zig zags or any other rolling paper, it's much safer than normal paper. Use page 666 if your a hard ass.

EDIT: i'll stay active on this thread to educate people just like why you started this thread, i agree there are some complete failures on this site who know nothing. good idea starting this thread

You are correct. ;D
regular paper burns faster because of certain chemicals, its also unhealthy for u.
And its a pain in the ass getting a joint to to stay to together as the paper doesn't stick together well.

If You plan on making Weed brownies. You need atleast a half ounce of bud. The smaller the less you can make. Adding a Guide for it right now.

a hookah is something you smoke out of that has several hoses (2+) coming out, which each person hits. several people hit at once.

idk, it's colored normally which immediately throws red flags up for me.
