Default Algebra Help Needed...
If someone could please help me out with these I want to know if I got the right answers?

6x + 84=4x -124

12x + 108=8x + 200

-16x + 216= -8x -216

5x - 168= -4x - 924

18x + 138 = 15x + 12

3(-6x + 18)= -6x -138

-5(-3x + 43) =6x -638

4(6x - 15) = 6(3x + 62)

3(9x + 4) =2 (8x + 105)

4(2x + 210) = 3(3x-109)

Please help and the way I did it I think I got the wrong answers..thanks

Oh shit, this is easy, I can probably do them all, one sec I need some paper.

Code:
1.) X = -104

2.) X = 23

3.) X = 0

4.) X = -84

5.) X = -42

6.) X = -16

7.) X = -75.666667 (Not sure if this one is correct)

8.) X = 72

9.) X = 18

10.) X = 1167
Hopefully these are right. I'm unsure about #7 though.

Just divide by the number next to 'x' on both sides of the equation.

For the parenthesis, its called the distributive property. You simple multiply the number to the left with all the numbers in the parenthesis to get the equation, then you just isolate the 'x's.

For example; 5(x + 5) = 5x + 25

5x/5 = x
25/5 = 5

If you are still confused, I'd suggest you probably stay before or after school. I'm sure your teacher will sit down and tell you step by step on how to do it. I do before school, so I don't have to get a ride after school, and all that junk.
