Why dont you mods do something in 'report a scammer threads'

You guys arnt fucking mods for nothing.. and dont tell me to give them time when there are a good amount of mods that should be doing it.

Get a grip, the world honestly doesn't revolve around that section. They are getting them knocked down compared to a few days ago as well.

Also use a MM/OMM and learn how to trade and that section would hardly ever be used.

Patience, patience, patience.


Also flaming mods will only alienate them more, not make them want to assist you sooner.

So you'd rather sit around and have Sythe flooded with scammers instead of dealing with it as soon as possible. I open up that thread 2-3 times a day and all i see is 0 replies on every thread and the odd 1 replie from n4n0 or Giddy.

Theres plenty of mods out there that could be doing this, if you dont have the time to do it simply step down from your position and let someone else that is committed to dealing with scammers do the job you should be doing.

You probably have no clue how "not fun" it is to deal with scam reports, especially when the majority of users don't follow the stickies and make them very easy to process.

Scam reports take more time then almost anything else to do. Not every mod was born to do scam reports, and most staff (for the past few years) has hated doing them and thats why it seems as if there are special mods for that section.

Bottom line - they WILL get done, be patient.

there human, And just because there mods doesnt mean they commit 100% of thier life to that section, If you knew how to read, Then you most likely wouldn't have to worry about posting there, you would not get scammed.

Moderators have the choice whether or not they want to do scam reports. Please post criticism more constructively in future.

Who the fuck said i got scammed? Oh and btw have you not realised how many mods there are? If each moderator committed 10% of their 'Sythe life' which is a small portion of their time even knowing they are supposed to do this anyways, unless of course they want to step down from moderating position, there would be no one making threads about the 'Report a Scammer' section in the first place. Its not just the fact that your dumb enough to get scammed, some types of trades you cant stop that even if you have used a OMM/MM.

Mods have lives also, they cant just no-life the forums... Also there is a Process to getting a person banned, its not just look n ban, it takes investigation so that they dont accidentaly false ban sombody.. if you take a look at the dispute forum there are sooo many claiming false bans on them... just wait for the report to go through... and also if u dont want to file a scammer report don't GET SCAMMED! take precautions in your trades

Hmmk. Ill let you guys have this argument but i still think mods should put a bit more effort into keeping scammers away from sythe.

Doing the RaSc section isn't the only way to keep the scammers out. There are many other things they do as well that you don't/can't see for the most part. Also the staff is a tad bit smaller then usual aswell at this time.

Obviously, if no moderators chose to do them we'd have some kind of system to ensure that they do them. Currently, seeing as we have a lot of moderators doing them, there is no need for that. Please keep in mind that a lot of the moderators probably aren't in the same time zone as you so the reports might pile up whilst they sleep. We're not robots here y'know.

They take a long time to process, this is complicated by the fact that most of them don't use the proper format.

OP, they don't work for us, you can't demand them to act like they do. But they still do a really good job. The scam section gets filled quickly though.

How about you take 2 minutes before you bitch and moan and look through the ARCHIVE. I did 2 and a half pages yesterday. I spent about 4 hours of MY TIME in order to help ensure YOUR safety. If that's not enough for you then quite honestly,
