Everyone has mostly moved on to .Net. There is no real need for the Visual Basic forum anymore. It is very inactive.

Well if the forum was removed people would stop grave digging old threads from 2007. Some threads in that forum is VB.net coding. An admin should just archive all of the threads and remove the forum.

How will it benefit us staying there? Why would you have a section that has little to no activity.

I've taken a look around there, most of the current posts have been gravedug.

Support the removal.

Merged the VB6 and VB.NET forums. People can continue to discuss VB6 if they so wish, but if most people are using 2003 and later, like you say, then we won't be seeing many threads about 6 in that forum.
