Age isn't as arbitrary as you make it out to be, so you're wrong on almost every level.

If some fourteen year old kid stumbles across an article and link to the video, why shouldn't he indulge his curiosity by watching it? If some sixty three year old pedophile comes across the video, of course he may or may not take pleasure in watching it. There is an immense difference in reasoning behind watching the video at a young, as opposed to old age. Its called contrast.

-_- ... You just don't seem to get it...it doesn't matter if its morally ok for a 14 year old to look at another 14 year old...if it is illegal,well then it is illegal and is NOT allowed. I'm not saying they are going to get arrested for looking at it, what I am saying is that they shouldn't be looking at it in the first place. You're not going to be ticketed for running a stop sign no one sees you run, but does that mean you should do it? Same thing as the stop light in the middle of nowhere, you're not going to run the red, are you?

You really are argumentative...I gave my opinion, you responded and tried to nullify it. I then responded again having to FURTHER explain everything I have said in increasing detail. Do not start an argument with me when you're just going to start insulting me when you run out of things to say. All I did was give my opinion, just like everyone else in this thread. I didn't run out of things to say. I came to the conclusion that you were too caught up with your own perspective to stop for one second and realize that not everybody is as inexplicably obedient as you are, and that people as individuals have a right to deem what is ethical and what isn't- despite whatever laws claim otherwise. At that point i realized that i didn't want to be caught up arguing with a pompous do-gooder , so i humored myself and tried to make you feel better about being so virtuous and pure.

 

Watching it is an offense. The cameraman/boyfriend could be tried as CP manufacturers.

We aren't talking morality, the issue is simply that both parties are under 18. Our laws define sexual material with actors under the age of 18 as child porn. Morality is irrelevant in such a clear cut case. The whole situation is innocent enough (douchey guy manipulates trusting girl into giving blowjob on camera, who gives a fuck), but they are both underage.

Stop using that word so much.

 

Had you read into my response a little closer, without skimming the top- you would have realized that i was addressing the fact that this argument is of no relevance to that of morality. You are essentially regurgitating what i just said to the original person that brought up moral ground. Do you feel special?

As for semantics, it was a re-occuring word because the previous argument was ALL about just that- semantics. Again, another attack at me without any substance whatsoever. Kudos.

 

After all this ranting and raving, I googled it and wow I know it isn't fake but it very well could be. It's not as big of a deal as you guys are making it but it does still qualify as CP so I'm not sure how sites are hosting it tbh. You never see anything but the girl's head bobbing up and down though.

Moral of the story: girl is stupid for 1) blowing an older boy and 2) letting him and his friends record it. What good could POSSIBLY come from that situation. Seriously. Not going to say she deserved it, but she didn't do much to prevent it now did she?

At what point in my post did I indicate that I was disagreeing with you? I apologize if my tone was argumentative, it was in no way meant as an attack. We both agree that the crux of the issue is the location, age of participating parties, and filming of the sexual encounter, rather than the actions themselves.


And your usage of the word "semantics" is a little skewed.

 

When one sardonically brings up 'big words' , i immediately think pretentious, unnecessary, over-the-top, etc. I've yet to see either one of us use a word out of place, or that doesn't emphasize on exactly what we mean. Not sure what you're getting at there.

That is disgusting... Teenagers that age have sex all the time, but being FORCED to commit a sexual act because you love your BF and don't want him to dump you, then having him betray you and post it up on the internet? That is just sick, that kid should be dragged out into a field and beaten silly with a bunch of baseball bats.

Just think of how the young girl must feel. She is being portrayed as a slut and she probably never have would have done it in the first place had she not been forced into it. I hope that kid recieves some harsh legal consequences. I'm on the girls side in this ..

 

Maybe if you read all of my post concerning what your quoting, you wouldn't have made a response that I've already responded too.. I'm well aware the cameraman could be tried for producing child porn; everyone else is well aware as well; you dont have to be intelligent to know that. They all knew it was being recorded, so all of them could be tried for that matter.. I also said that the possibility of you actually getting is trouble for watching the video in question is near zero. Stop posting common sense.

Nothing is special about this case.. incidents like this happen all the time; this one just happened to go viral for whatever reason.

She wasn't forced to do ANYTHING. People need to stop having sympathy for this girl because "she loved her boyfriend so much she decided to give him head on camera". It was her own dumb decision to do what she did, and she well knew it was being recorded. She looks at the camera in the video.

What you think should happen to the guy is disgusting, not what he did. For starters you don't know anymore of the backstory then what people have said.I seriously doubt it was his idea to record it, yet alone post it. Her thinking it wouldn't be passed around was horrible judgement by her, and should have known better and im betting you she's learned her lesson by now.

If the guy is faced with consequences, the girl will be as well. The only charges that can be passed here is production of child pornography, which everyone in the video is guilty of. There is no "girls or guys side" she happened was COMPLETELY her fault, rather she was manipulated or not. We hear about things like this all the time, hell cops come into class and tell you not to do things like this, things EXACTLY like this. She should have listened.

 

why does anyone even care about this - what's the big deal? you people act as if this is some sort of 1 time thing when in reality it literally happens hundreds of times a day in the united states alone.
